Too for it's own goodI had four of the 8 inch and they were torn apart before I ever even got a bite on them. Blown out noses, missing tails, torn backs, won't be buying again unless something changes with the plastic. I'm sure they get bit, but they just don't last long enough to do it.

Comments: These are an underrated bait for sure. I fished the 8" at my local lakes in Colorado and beat my Colorado PB twice in a day. Other anglers are throwing big huddlestons and crazy expensive glide baits with half the success rate I was having with the Scottsboro baits. Something about the full body wobble these baits produce just get fish fired up. These baits have sort of a second skin coating on them that tends to come off after catching a couple fish. I just peel off the problem areas and carry on. If you're able to catch 5-6 fish on one bait before needing to replace it I'd say it's caught its moneys worth. I pair the 8" with a 10/0 weighted beast screw lock hook and it's super weedless. Expensive glide baits are fun to fish, but these Scottsboro baits are my go to swimbait when the bass are holding deeper.

Comments: The 3 and the 3.5 are sleeper baits. I rig them with a guppy head from dirty jigs a BAM you will be shocked how many you can catch with them. When those ledge fish get beat up day after day the 4 inch are amazing as well.

Comments: Tim makes some beautiful baits, they hold up and catch fish. He's a great guy, these are made in the USA. What's not to like.

Comments: These swimbaits are decent but you need to know that if you order some do not get very many at a time because they will change color and leak an oily substance and make a mess where ever you store them. I have bought some of these in 6" and some of the Fringe baits in 7" and put them in the same box but in separate bags. So in the same conditions Scottsboro changed colors (got pale) and turned extremely oily whereas the Fringe baits look like I bought them the same day. I called the company and asked them why this happened and they had no answer. I thought maybe I got a bad batch of plastic but I got a few more the next year and the same thing happened within 3 to 6 months they had lost some color and were very oily.

Comments: These swimbaits will flat out catch big bass! The action is perfect for slow rolling in deep water or moving faster when the fish are more active. I rig them on an Owner Best Hook when throwing them in the grass, and on the Scottsboro Tackle Co. Recon Head when fishing open water. The Natural Light and Bass Whacker have been the best colors for the past three years on the Tennessee River. Give them a try, it's almost like having a Magic bait!

Comments: Great Swimbaits! Very durable and they have great colors, many more in their store if you don't find what you like here. They've been catching fish in Guntersville for seveneral years and I know there are a lot of Swimbaits on the market, but as far as durability these are among the best I've ever used. Also work great with lead head or belly weight hook. Try some you won't be disappointed!

Comments: Top shelf baits that flat out catch bass. Colors are amazing and they look real in the water. These have a very subtle side to side wobble that looks amazing. Rig them on a Beast hook and they are weedless. They are the cleanest soft swimbaits I've ever thrown. I like the 8" in the spring when the big females start roaming the shallow water before locking on the beds. During the Shad spawn, the 4" are lethal. In the summer, I alternate from 5" to 7" and have had great results. They just work when others won't. Especially when the water is clear or on heavy pressured lakes. Just something about that action. Buy with confidence. The cats out of the bag on these baits now. They have been winning tournaments in the south for years.

Comments: The detail is amazing the bait swims great, but the plastic is very tough. Nothing a little boiling water won't fix. I recommend 10/0, or 12/0 hook. good luck!
