After hundreds of hours of on-the-water product testing and refinement, the Scum Frog Launch Frog is the new pinnacle of technical design and performance in topwater frogs. To ensure a high hook up ratio, the Scum Frog Launch Frog is equipped with a super soft high compression body and a premium 5/0 Owner red double frog hook that creates increased hook penetration and a high fish landing ratio. Sinking frogsRecently purchased two scum frogs. Couldn't wait to use them. Got out on the water cast first frog. It immediately sank. Open the second pack, and had the same thing happen. I have purchased these in the past and never had an issue.

Sinking frogI boiled it with a jackell gavacho that I got for extra softness even tho I heard it was soft (figured it couldn’t hurt) no idea if that had any affect but first time fishing with it and it sank

Best frog on marketFrog is not the easiest to walk but by far the best hookup ratio. I’ve lost a lot of fish on the spro and the thunderhawk frogs then I swapped to these and it’s been lights out right at 9-10 so far on landing and one was my fault. Would most definitely recommend.

Comments: Love the action cast great strong hooks tacklewarehouse best place to buy tackle.

From: Charlie: Tenn 10/2/23

Comments: I've bought this frog before and love it, hard to find at retailers. Casts a good ways. Doesn't walk as well as others. Great soft body and really good hooks make my hookup ratio stronger than most other frogs. Lures arrived quickly from Tackle Warehouse.

From: Joe: Powhatan VA 9/22/23

Comments: This frog catches fish! The softness of the body and the bent hooks allow for more hookups! One of my favorite frogs!

From: Devin: Baton Rouge 9/14/23

Comments: Its a good frog but is hard to walk compared to other frogs I have used. That being said it does put fish in the boat.

From: Unknown: 8/23/23

Comments: A great frog, casts a mile and stands up well. Perfect size right in the middle of frog body sizes. Great hooks and is soft but not too soft of a body. Great price point as well. Comes through weeds well and over Lilly pads.

From: Unknown: 8/21/23

Comments: Been having trouble finding a frog I really like and tried a launch frog. I love them and ordered several more. Super soft body for good hook uos, yet doesn't hook weeds Casts a mile. While some say it doesn't walk the dog well I'm OK with that because it pulses and wobbles great, just like a frog scurrying through the muck. AWESOME BAIT!!

From: Ben: NE Iowa 7/30/23

Comments: I fished the old scum frog poppers years ago but changes in frog designs left them behind. They were too light to cast as far as new models do and they were not great when it was windy. This new Launch Frog is a great frog. I like that the hooks have a little upward bend to them and that the body conforms to the hooks in a way to help keep it from grabbing on cover. The hookup ratio has been excellent for me.

From: Unknown: Indiana 7/13/23

Comments: I'm fairly new to frog fishing, so my walking technique needs practice, but this frog doesn't help a newbie much. It sits nose up, and tends to bob up and down more than move side to side. Fortunately the fish didn't care and they pounded it for hours my first outing using it. Unfortunately, my hookup percentage was considerably lower than normal. The body is super soft, and the hooks are super sharp so I don't want to blame the frog. Going to give it another chance next week and see what happens.

From: David: Dallas, Tx 6/1/23

Comments: There are quite a few frogs out there that are easy to get started walking, this is not one of them. It doesn't cast as far as a spro either. Not impressed.

From: John: South FL 4/27/23

Comments: I ordered the launch frog in the sloppy toad color What I really like is the weight, the bait doesn't get loaded with water too often and the legs are a great pattern with flake in them. It's well balanced and something really different is how soft the body is It increase the hook up chance with the softer style body. The only thing I'm not a fan is the hook is not sharp compared to other frogs But I guess at that point using a heavy action rod with braid to negate that issue Overall my opinion is this launch frog is the best on the market

From: Herbie: PTC GA 4/6/23

Comments: I've been fishing for 35 years and every angler knows the importance of a reliable frog. This scum frog launch from is by far the best option in the market. Extremely high percentage hook up ratio and awesome durability. This season I used only two of them and probably caught over 200 fish on each one. I am really impressed...

From: Carlos: FL 11/25/22

Comments: Glenn, Florida I have always used scum frogs starting with the original catching lots of Florida bass. The launch frog with the great owner hooks are fantastic. You can cast this frog a country mile and the not worrying about it sinking or the hooks failing on hook set. Another great frog from Scum Frog. Thank you.

From: Glenn: Crawfordville, Florida 9/16/22

Comments: Easily one of the best frogs out there on the market right now for fishing heavy cover for bass. However this frog does not excel in open water. Difficult to walk so I would save this frog for cover specific areas. Use a different brand frog that walks good in open water to cover that zone such as snagproof, Jackall kaera, etc. extremely soft body that is guaranteed hook up rates to 95%. This scum frog is great for beginners to learn how to use a frog.

From: Unknown: The Delta, CA 9/8/22

Comments: Best frog I've used! Caught my PB peacock bass a few casts into my first session with this lure. I've fished other hollow-body frogs, but this one is the best by far. Durable soft body, strong weedless hooks, balanced weight, and doesn't fill with water. Will definitely pickup in other colors. Highly recommended.

From: Unknown: 8/31/22

Comments: Originally I bought three to try them out. Once I saw them in action I was hooked and so were the fish. The angle of the hooks and the softness of the frog itself really help to hook the fish. Didn't catch any giants yet but I did get a 5lber. I bought 5 more after that.

From: Ramon: Oakley, CA 8/31/22

Comments: This is hands down my covering water/heavy mats go to frog! It is extremely easy to walk and you can absolutely bomb it. The body is extremely soft so the hook up ratio is extremely high for a hollow bodied frog.

From: Mitch: Florida 8/17/22

Comments: This frog has almost counted for all my frog catches since this dude came out! The colors are awesome especially the Sloppy Toad! This thing will cast a country Mile and the way the hooks are angled up gives you the best hook up possible!! The softness of the Launch frogs is incredible as well!

From: Brent: Texas 8/17/22

Comments: Best frog ever.... casts a mile, good solid hooks and the colors are great. Soft body collapses for easy hook ups.

From: Wayne: Maryland 8/19/22

Comments: Does everything it's supposed to do, to include getting eaten a lot. Haven't had any problem with hook ups or the durability which surprised me given that it is so soft and flexible, just a solid frog.

From: DVW: San Diego, Ca 7/26/22

Comments: The hookup ratio of this frog is unmatched and outstanding. I've been throwing the Dusk color for the past two years and have never missed a blowup.

From: Lucas: Canada 7/25/22

Comments: Hook up percentage is really good. Casts great. Bluegill color is what I have used so far and have caught around three dozen bass on same bait during last couple tournaments. Bait is still in good shape. Price is reasonable

From: Jim: Loami Illinois 7/8/22

Comments: Changed the frog fishing game for me. These have replaced my spros and are what I use almost exclusively now. They are soft enough where you don't have the hookup problems you have with other frogs. No boiling, cutting or hook bending needed.

From: Eric: Michigan 7/7/22

Comments: I don't know what type of frogs people use prior to express how good these frogs walk. I am by no means an experienced frog fisherman. Been fishing frogs for only ten years and probably less than a 100 hours of frog fishing. Yes. You can bomb this frog and listen to it hit the water like a Sasquatch doing a belly flop. I do appreciate this frog for it's durability relative to it's decent softness. I do value its great hookup ratio. I reserve this frog for throwing in heavy cheese, vegetation, pads when I feel confident I don't need to attract fish with a good walk and can be mindful about a gentle landing to prevent spooking. Strengths: Awesome hooks, durable for how soft it is, bomb casting, weight design holds up well preventing water intake. Negatives: Challenging to walk, kabloosh! If you're having a hard time walking a frog and hooking up, try a a Slither K. Yeah. Not the most durable, yet not horrible durabilit..but superior in every other attribute. You get what you pay for performance. I do value the experience with this frog. Opens my eyes to babying myself with easy walking frogs and the need to practice more with more challenging walking frogs.

From: Dan: Illinois 6/21/22

Comments: Awesome bait. Landed three keepers in the Friday night 3 fish limit weighing in 10.36 and taking 1st place. My dad had never caught fish on a frog but that evening with the Scum Frog he landed all 3 of the keepers with the biggest being 4.5lbs This Frog is Easy to cast with limited hang ups and a soft body which maximizes hook ups makes this bait a winner.

From: Unknown: Baton Rouge, LA 6/2/22

Comments: I only have a handful of frogs in my box. By far my confidence frog is this one! Hookup ratio is almost 100% when they eat it and the action is amazing. Can cast it a mile and the wall is top notch. Definitely will continue to buy these.

From: Stephen: Herrin, IL 5/26/22

Comments: There's a lot of good frogs on the market, but these are #1 in my books. These out perform "high- end" frogs IMO. Best hook up ratio of any frog I've tried !!!! These don't fill with water every 3rd cast like some brands and they walk really well. Bonus for me is they are ultra durable! My waters have pike musky and bowfin that destroy most frogs. These actually survive teeth and keep on trucking !

From: Steve: Ontario, Canada 5/24/22

Comments: I never had a good hook up ratio when frog fishing. Almost to the point of not throwing it. These will change your luck when fishing a frog. Frog is soft yet durable material that helps with hookups. You can cast these things a mile if needed. I don't see myself using another frog brand.

From: Andre: Lumberton, TX 5/21/22

Comments: My frog box probably has dozens of different types of frogs. But the one that gets tied on more often than any is the Scum Frog Launch Series Sloppy Toad pattern. It simply works better, walks better, casts farther, hooks up better at least for me.

From: Sonny: Virginia 5/18/22

Comments: This is probably the softest frog on the market at the moment. Hook-ups are guaranteed in open water, however, I would not throw this frog in thick cover. It is bound to get stuck given the semi-exposed hooks and soft body. Excellent frog though, its worth having this frog in your box.

From: Gijsbert: Johannesburg, South Africa 4/27/22

Comments: Mixed reviews on this guy. Pros: cast / skips well. Soft body and good hooks gets you a good hook up ratio. Cons: Bought two of these to try out and both of these frogs are now legless; skipped frog under a tree and when they made it back to the boat the legs were gone. I did get a solid few days out of them, but skeptical on buying again. I'm now on the Bully Wa 2 and Bobby's perfect frog bandwagon; been using these for a few weeks and so far so good.

From: Rick: Cullman, AL 4/21/22

Comments: Fishing frogs for 8 months of the year I have probably too many to count, but I'm down to 4 main brands that I throw on a regular basis. The Scum is what I throw in when I need to skip under docks and trees. It's soft and has a good hook up ratio. The bad is that it doesn't walk as well as a River2Sea or Bobby's Perfect frog. Not many frogs can do it all, but this one does most this good, but not the best in all categories.

From: Tim: Lincoln, CA 3/30/22

Comments: Long-cast design and soft body does help with hook sets. Belly color patterns are really great. Hooks are just right. What more could you ask for in a frog..

From: Richard: Texas 3/19/22

Comments: I fish frogs a lot, I have more than 100 frogs of all makes and models in my boat. The Launch Frog is by far the best frog I have ever thrown. Casts a mile, super soft for great hookup ratio and never takes on a single drop of water. Hands down best frog available anywhere.

From: Mark: Wisconsin 3/7/22

Comments: I think its a great frog. It has the best hookup ratio of any frog I have had in my box and it is heavy enough to cast a long distance as well. My favorite color is bullfrog and green leopard because I have tons of bullfrogs and brown/green leopard frogs also hopping around and croaking all morning.

From: Unknown: 1/27/22

Comments: Sloppy toad was my number 1 frog last season and I'm gonna just keep tying that one on. Great frog! Hook up ratio is really good too!

From: Unknown: Oxford Hills, ME 1/23/22

Comments: Like the softness of this frog but it's not great for skipping because of the softness. Great hook up ratio and a great frog for vegetation, just not the frog for skipping. I will buy more in the future.

From: Brian: Texas 10/21/21

Comments: Haven't gotten a chance to use it yet, however, one key detail that jumps out at me right away is the hooks. The hooks are solid and the way they sit on the body of the frog is perfect for a great hookup ratio.

From: Ben: California 10/19/21

Comments: Best frog I've bought in a while. Great hooks and the material is plenty tough and soft as well. I like that the color doesn't come off at all. It's not a paint it's more like a dye.

From: Elijah: Rome, Georgia 10/18/21

Comments: It's a good frog. It cast a long ways due to it being a heavy frog. Really sharp hooks that are kinda bent out already a little bit from the body. But to me , it didn't walk that well. It just kinda goes forward with very little side to side action. Overall it's a good bait and money well spent.

From: Clint: Sam Rayburn, TX 10/15/21

Comments: Really like this frog. Long-cast design and soft body does help with hook sets. Really like the belly color patterns as well.

From: Richard: Texas 10/10/21

Comments: Great frog, more durable and cheaper than my usual go-to the Live Target Frog. The hooks are sharp and comfirmed durable. Caught my PB Bowfin 7.7 lbs on this frog in the Dusk (black) color over the weekend. Bowfin will destroy a frog. So, I was pleased to see it was still good to go. Someone mentioned an issue with the weighting system being at the back of the frog. There is something at the back of the frog but the weight is actually a lead neko style nail weight which is attached on the shank of the hook, in a plastic tube. I personally like it and did not see and issue with the set up. I think this will be my new go-to frog. I wish they made it in a smaller size as well. I like finesse frogging with a spinning rod as well.

From: Robert: Virginia Beach, VA 10/4/21

Comments: Great frog for me due to the softness of the material helped me with the hook set because I was terrible with the other brands wasn't too excited about the way it walks but it does cast a long way and it's about as durable as any other brand.

From: Roger: Crawford 9/27/21

Comments: The scum frog gets it done. The legs need trimmed and the hooks tweaked a little. But...the scum frog has superior hook up ratio to everything else I've used.

From: Jason: Peebles, Ohio 9/26/21

Comments:  These frogs are not anything special! They added a metal wire hook holding the legs together with a thin piece of rubber band that attaches to the hook. It rips before even using them leaving that metal hook inside to tear holes in the frog once you do hook one. Another issue is the weight. I mean Scum Frog has been having issues with the butt weight falling off since I can remember and they didn't bother to fix it in this brand new more expensive model. It's exposed and only pinched in with the plastic body much like a button on a dress shirt. I wouldn't recommend these at all to anybody. The only frog I have found that is perfect is the Bobby's perfect frog. The colors are actually natural looking and not loud and obnoxious like on the launch frog. Same exact style hook, molded in weight that will never fall out and a simple leg attachment system that works.

From: Luis: Lake Placid, FL 9/25/21

Comments: Bought these on recommendation of JT Kenny and caught my PB, 9lb 6 oz monster. These things throw a mile and fairly easy to walk compared to other frogs.

From: Rusty: Hernando, Florida 9/15/21

Comments: Awesome frog! Cast it a mile or skip it into cover. walks great if you trim one leg! Hook up ratio is greater than any other frog I've thrown.

From: Unknown: Tennessee 9/9/21

Comments: Nice frog does what it said it will do it walks good and also cast great

From: Unknown: 9/1/21

Comments: Super soft body, great hooks that are slightly pointed up. Due to its shape it tends to roll on its side coming over solid matts, but body pushes a lot of water in the open. Doesn't walk as well for novices as a Bully Wa II. Nice color selection. Quality frogs to add to the Kermy collection. It has earned a permanent place in my frog rotation.

From: Alan: Lacey, WA 8/31/21

Comments: The Sloppy Toad color in Florida is unbeatable. If I had to only choose 1 frog for the rest of my life, it would be this one.

From: Bryan: Port St Lucie, FL 8/30/21

Comments: Snagproof finally came through with a great product. Their new plastic is extremely soft unlike their previous models the plastic gives when the fish applies that pressure with matching sticky frog hooks you can't go wrong with a scum frog.

From: Mike: Clearlake, CA 8/16/21

Comments: Great frog, and like the name says it launches farther than other frogs I have

From: Unknown: 8/14/21

Comments: I tried this frog based on J.T.Kenny's video about it. It alone made a dyed in the wool frog fishermen out of me. I had piddled with frogs, but this one gave me the confidence and assurance that it would work consistently, and it does. Launch is is good term to describe how it casts. It's heavier weight makes it more visible through the slop/mat. I started buying them up everywhere I ran into them as well as at Tacklewarehouse.com. Sloppy Toad is THE go to color pattern anywhere there is water clarity. On mat or slop, any color will work. GREAT FROG!!!

From: Willmer: Mechanicsville, VA 8/13/21

Comments: This is probably one of the best all around frogs.  Super soft body, super long hooks (3/4 spears) that are already tipped out a little to insure positive hook sets.  Also, the weight is towards the back behind/outside the hook so it sits the back down lower in the water and keeps a larger gap in the hook as most other frogs have the weight inside the bend of the hook.  They also walk great and you can almost get it to walk in the same spot over and over.  I have not lost a fish by being thrown off or bending out any of the hardware.  I keep about 10 on box as they tend to sell out fast during the summer

From: Joseph: San Francisco, CA 8/9/21

Comments: Long tradition of great frogs Scum Frog and it just keeps going with the Launch Frog. Great colors and casts like a bullet. Hooks are slightly angled up for a better hook up ratio. Walking this frog is super easy.

From: Barry: Tennessee 8/5/21

Comments: I like it and definitely will get more. Love how extremely soft it is. It's not hard to walk and has a decent weight. Like that the hooks were red as well, maybe gives those fish a better target.

From: Jax: The Delta, CA 8/4/21

Comments: I'm a frog fanatic. I have 2 on the deck all times if the water temp is above 55 degrees. With that being said, I was skeptical of this frog. Why? Because it's made by Scum. To me, Scum has always been the entry level frog. Kinda of like starting out with a snoopy pole. Anyway, this thing is legit and has moved to #2 for open water frogging. It skips well, never takes on water and has held up great after 2 outings and over 20 fish. It has 2 characteristics that make it shine. 1)The weight is so far back that when you pause it, the rear end sink just a little bit. This makes it easier for the fish to inhale it and get the hooks. 2)It has more strands of skirt material than most frogs. When it is paused the legs slowly spread out giving it a secondary motion on the pause... Not to mention they eat this frog deep. 80% of them will have it in their crushers... I haven't really tried it yet in the slop or pads but I don't think it will out perform the Gavacho.

From: Unknown: Indiana 8/3/21

Comments: Great Colors! Walking to dog is a breeze and the best part is it doesn't sink. Great Frog.

From: Mike: Bethesda, MD 8/1/21

Comments: Scum Frog Company finally got one right. I have a frog on the deck all the time if the water temp is above 60. This one has earned it's place in the starting lineup on the varsity team!!

From: Bart: Indiana 7/29/21

Comments: Casts a mile! Great for the slop. Hook up ratio is great because it's so soft. I struggle to get this thing to walk. Lost the legs/skirt after about 6 fish. I found that you need to add a little super glue to the skirt where it goes into the body of the frog to keep from the skirt getting pulled out.

From: Chris: 7/26/21

Comments: Super soft as advertised. I have a little more difficulty walking it compared to some others, but that's likely a reflection of my skill level rather than a knock on the frog. Definitely glad to have it on the boat.

From: David: Chapel Hill, NC 6/30/21

Comments: Great frog! Casts well and the body is soft enough that you don't have to bend the hooks up like on other frogs to get a good hook set.  Works well here in Florida in the grass at Keenansville and the Headwaters lakes which are loaded with grass.

From: Charlie: Oklahoma 6/23/21

Comments: Great frog. Goes through the thick slop with ease. Casts a mile and great color selection. A slightly smaller version would be welcome.

From: Paul: Clearwater, FL 6/18/21

Comments: The frog itself has a nice walk BUT the legs pulled right out after only 2 hours and 1 fish (literally). Never had that happen with other frogs so take that for what it's worth.

From: Tim: Texas 6/16/21

Comments: Excellent frog cast extremely well and great hook up sharp hooks. I highly recommend.

From: William: Georgia 6/12/21

Comments: This is the best frog I have ever fished. They do not fill up with water and are very buoyant. Also the plastic is soft yet durable. Highly recommend.

From: Unknown: 6/12/21

Comments: Great frog, they really do cast a mile like they say and they're super soft and the hook-up ratio is great!!

From: John: Williamsville, NY 6/11/21

Comments: This frog is the best frog I have ever used. It sits perfect in the water and you can launch it a mile. Very soft but very durable too. It really catches the big ones and walks perfectly

From: Phil: Florida 5/28/21

Comments: Was a bit disappointed with the frog as it did not work well at all in any sort of cover for me, but it is ok in open water. It's body is very supple and casts easy.

From: Unknown: Frisco, TX 5/21/21

Comments: Great frogs.Out the package they are great.Sharp hooks and a soft body.

From: Hobbit: Connecticut 5/20/21

Comments: Great frog, I've gotten the most violent hits off this one. However...use a palomar. If you use a loop knot you will lose a couple from the open line tie eyelet.

From: Unknown: 5/9/21

Comments: Truly the best frog, toads I have ever used. Cast it a mile or a yard always lands belly side down.

From: Chuks: 4/29/21

Comments: If you wanna cast a frog 100yds, not have to squeeze the water out, increase your hookup % because of the softness of the body and strong, sharp hooks...this is THE ONE!!!

From: Brian: Texas 4/28/21

Comments: The best of all and any hollow body frog. If I could only throw 1 frog forever. It would be this one.

From: Bryan: Port St. Lucie, FL 4/22/21

Comments: Best frog ever with the best hooks in the world.

From: Unknown: 4/17/21

Comments: Great realistic colors and hooks will penetrat anything. Doesn't hold water and easy walk the dog action.. by far best frog for the money.

From: Keith: Hockley, TX 4/9/21

Comments: Best frog in the market. Great hookup ratio and durability. Great bang for buck and a really fantastic color selection.

From: Ray: 3/17/21

Comments: Awesome soft bodied frog. It's weighted and casts a mile!

From: Cody: Alabama 3/7/21

Comments: Honesty is the best,I have been using a different frog for years so for me to change would be almost impossible. I will say this frog works just fine and I will use it for awhile and see what my feeling are then, but I know I will stay with the other frog because thats where my confidence is. I will most likely add this frog to my arsenal...worth trying !!

From: Unknown: 2/11/21

Comments:
Great frog, they cast a mile, easy to walk and best of all they catch fish!

From: Wayne: Maryland 1/11/21

Comments: I always slow to change a bait especially one that I've had success with but I just placed my second Scum Frog order. I'm very picky when it comes to what I want in a frog but after my "first let me try one" order I ordered more. The bait is soft which makes the fish hold on longer and helps with hook sets. The weighting of the bait helps it provide good water displacement when comes over grass mats which seems to help the fish find it when they blow up. Lastly- it doesn't get snagged or fouled up as bad when coming through vegetation or pads. Bottom line- it works!

From: Danny: Florida 1/6/21

Comments: I of course have my favorite frogs and I have been a frog guy for a few decades now so you can imagine how tough it is to switch frogs. Let me tell you about this launch frog. Softest most buoyant frog you will ever throw, it has some voodoo powers to be extremely soft without taking up any water. It's so soft that you would expect it to snag on everything within 2 feet of the cast, but again voodoo like, it comes through everything. Now the exciting part.. I will venture to say this thing has a better hookup ratio than any other frog on the market, it gives every big girl an instant pair of nose piercings, hook-ups improved considerably. With the cancel Covid season I was able to go fun fish and really do a compare and contrast with three other popular frog and this launch frog truly has them beat. Give it a try and you will be surprised at the ease of use with this frog.

Comments:  Have used this frog a limited amount. It does cast really well. Does not take on water like so many frogs do. I'm optimistic about hook ups but not enough bites to have an opinion. The frog definitely walks better if you cut the tails down to 2" or less.

Comments: Best frog yet it has most of the modifications built in with an awesome hook!

From: Shane: 11/22/20

Comments:Great colors. Cast a country mile and soft for better hookups. This frog is one of my favorites. Very durable as well.

Comments:I was impressed with casting distance possible with Scum Frog Launch. I was easily able to reach this blowups that were normally out of reach. If it had some rattles inside, that would make it even more lethal. Good product for fishing weeds and moss for sure!

Comments:Good frog and good price. Walks easy and doesn't take on water

From: Unknown: 11/16/20

Comments: JT Kenney basically sold me this frog. I used them a few times in Florida on a recent trip. I had 4 bites and caught 3 fish. Not a bad ratio for a frog. The soft body collapses easily for easy hook ups. I didn't find it to have a great walking action but the fish seem to like the action that they have. And sloppy toad has some magic to it. The bass attack that color for some reason.

Comments: This frog is the real deal! It cast a mile, walks great, and is super soft! Hook up % is awesome! It's the best frog I've used in years!

From: Ralph: Orlando, FL 10/31/20

Comments: Pros - super soft, hooks are pre bent out, the rear end sits low in the water, great skirted tails.
Cons - Super soft, doesn't cast or walk as well as some other brands (for me).
Overall a solid frog

From: Alan: 10/27/20

Comments: With all the latest frogs out - the scum launch frog is still my favorite- it's the softest - hook up Ratio is high - they do cast a nice distance- don't fill with water so fast - what's not to love .

Comments: Don't own too many scum frogs but I bought this one for the sake of trying out a new frog and I gotta say I'm super impressed with how well this thing fishes. Awesome design! Literally never fills up with water and the hook up ratio is pretty good what these owners, don't have to bend these hooks up they are good to go out the box. Solid solid frog!

Great frog especially for fishing over Matted Grass. Casts super far and is super soft

From: Corban: Knoxville, TN 10/19/20

Comments: Very soft frog but durable. Hooks up Better than any frog I have in the box.

Comments:Awesome frog! Walks great I love top water frog fishing and the Scum frog was not a let down!!

From: Brian: Pennsylvania 10/19/20

Comments:This frog is by far superior to any other frog on the market. The unique skirt material combined with the tungsten weighting system give it such a unique action and look. Color patterns are amazing as well, especially the sloppy toad and shad pattern. 10/10. I own 13 launch frogs!

Comments:I've used a many brands of hollow body frogs by far the scum frog launch has really tuned things up for me walks the dog easy better hook ups

From: Unknown: 10/18/20

Comments:Knocked it out of the park!! Awesome frog! I think the number one complaint I see on reviews about other frogs is people constantly having to squeeze the water out of them! Let me tell you, that is a thing of the past with scum frogs. The new launch frog is the mother of all frogs coming in close to 3/4 of an ounce I can sling this thing to the moon. The hooks are AMAZING and positioned perfect. The body is made of some of the softest material known to man and will collapse with the slightest touch! Hook up ratio is through the roof! Once your done dragging this thing through the thickest slop and come into open water you can walk the dog with absolute ease, it also has a secondary bob unlike any other frog I have thrown. Oh yeah and once I real this bad boy back in I have this bad habit of wanting to squeeze the water out because I know the gaping hole that it has at it's rear has to let in tons of water but I just squeeze air EVERY single time! WHOEVER built this frog is a mad genius and put some dedication into it. I'm hooked and wont be throwing any other frog unless they stop making SCUMS! One day I'll remember I don't have to squeeze my frogs anymore! I'll just watch other fools around me keep doing it!

Comments: In my opinion these are the best frogs in the market - soft body - hooks are positioned perfect - no need to take pliers to them - tungsten weight gives farther cast - that soft body is just perfect - I For see the "sloppy toad" bring their number one seller - just flat out catches bass - they can't refuse - highly recommend the launch frog .. my all time favorite - even beats out my loved megabass Gabots .

From: Dean: Las Vegas, NV 7/28/20

Comments: Great frog! Colors are awesome and really life like. Casts a mile and easy to walk. Hook up ratio has been really good. Bought 6 initially and will be buying more.

From: Otis: Missouri City, MS 7/8/20

Comments:Got two of these to try out. One had decent sharpness but the other the hooks were not sharp at all. Pretty disappointing for what's supposed to be scum's higher end frog and having the owner hooks. I have other frogs that come with sharp hooks and can be fished for a long time without having to sharpen the hooks.

From: Michael: 7/1/20

Comments:I bought three of these after JT Kenney spoke about them. The colors are awesome and more natural than other brands of frogs. I was skeptical as to how well they would come through vegetation since the body collapses so easy and the hooks point more upward. But I was pleasantly surprised by how well the Launch Frog crawls over and through matted vegetation. It casts very far and lands belly down almost every time. Even if it lands upside down, it quickly turns belly down. It walks easily in open water and with the head-up angle, it creates a tantalizing action when retrieved with short snaps of the rod. The hooks are super sharp and pointed upward so I landed about 7 of the 10 bass that exploded on my Launch Frog the first time I tried it! Get you some and go catch the biggest bass under those shady mats!

From: Bobby: Gainesville, FL 6/21/20

Comments:Good frog, can not throw around wood due to the hook exposure. It tremendously helps with hook up ratio, but makes it impossible to bring the frog around cover.

From: Unknown: 5/21/20

Comments:Just got these in the mail and they are not sealed, at all. Both of the two I opened have a gaping hole in the back where the hooks come through. Put them in water and they sink like a rock... A little too expensive for them to possibly not even be fishable.

From: Danny: Colorado

Comments: Got some of these frogs in a giveaway and these are very good frogs. They collapse well to expose sharp owner hooks and do not sink. I used to stay away from scum frog as they were too light for my liking but these cast and walk super well. I throw a frog year round and a frog rod is in my hand 50% of the time and have thrown almost every frog on the market. Don't sleep on these frogs.
