Overview
Adding a new element of sound to the original Little John MD, the Spro John Crews Little John Type R MD 50 Crankbaits are perfect for those times when you need to make a little extra noise to attract fish and trigger bites. Featuring the same flat-sided profile as the original Little John MD that produces a tight wobbling action, the Spro John Crews Little John Type R MD 50 Crankbaits feature a soft tungsten weight transfer system for better castability, as well as, steel ball bearings that produce a hard rattling sound, which is perfect for calling fish out of cover and in stained water or low light conditions. They also feature an extra durable chisel-tipped bill that allows them to dive quickly and reduces hang-ups by helping flip them up and over cover.
Providing an excellent hook-up ratio as well, the Spro John Crews Little John Type R MD 50 Crankbaits are equipped with premium Gamakatsu round bend treble hooks that are sticky sharp and provide lightning-fast hook sets. Covered in highly detailed paint jobs and patterns that will match the hatch on any body of water, the Spro John Crews Little John Type R MD 50 Crankbaits expands the effectiveness of the Little John series of crankbaits.

Comments: These are great baits! They come in great colors, run true, have great hooks, and just catch fish. One of the best crank baits I've thrown.

Comments: Great bait with a very loud rattle. The MD 50 is one of the best crankbaits out there.

Comments: Great bait, the only problem is that the hooks will sometimes hook together when you cast and will cause you to miss a bite. The hooks need a shorter shank to avoid this problem

Comments: Love the little John series. Got the type r is copper shad. Used it for about 6 hours and the rear hook hanger broke off. Not sure about the quality of the type r. Just my experience.

Comments: This crank has a wonderful tight wobble, and Ozark Craw is a killer pattern! especially those mean red eyes!! I have fished it once. Ran it parallel to a shallow dock from a foot and a half of water out. one dink, and one 4#er that damn near ripped the rod out of my hands. Looking forward to really putting it to the test in the next tournament. Just in time for Pre Spawn, and Spawn here in Florida. I'll report back.
