Comments: I did a review on this rod. The 6’8 medium EXTRA FAST is awesome! You are not beating this rod for a one stick bass rod under $150. Extra fast taper kills it for jerk baits, yeah I said it. Ask some old heads or Midwest/Canadian guys about spinning rod jerkbaiting on 6-8lb line. I go to town with it! Awesome for skipping docks. Backbone for days!! I mess around and catch blue catfish off docks with it just for fun. Also has the ultimate taper for fishing a gotcha plug off the pier for bluefish and Spanish mackerel. Pier flipping 2-3lb blues all day. This rod is the deal.

Comments: This rod is what you would expect from St. Croix. It is durable, refined, and sensitive for it's price point. I have a 7' MH version and use it for shaky heads and smaller jigs. My only dig on this rod is the reel seat threads are on the bottom of the rod instead of the top. After a long day of fishing, the threads really dig into the meat of my hand and wear it out. I wish it would tighten down from the upper part of the reel seat, but still a great rod.

Comments: I've had the 6'10 ML for a few years and pretty much use it strictly for drop shotting. I've used more expensive rods but I can say for sure that this is probably the best drop shot rod you can get in this price range. Not gonna lie, this thing is kind of a noodle meaning the backbone is pretty far back in the blank. BUT, the tip is perfection for drop shotting. Very sensitive and lightweight for the price. Just so much fun to use. Throw a daiwa ballistic or tatula on it with 10 braid to 10 lb fluoro leader and your dialed. Hook yourself up with a 4 lber and let the drag rip you'll be geeking its so fun with this rod.

Comments: I've had the 7'1 medium spinning mojo bass rod for over a year now and I have zero complaints. It is a workhorse. It's specifically designed for soft plastics. It fishes T-rigs , weightless, wacky etc etc. it even fishes 3.5-4 inch Keitech paddle tail swim baits through the river with ease! It's been a deadly combo for river smallies. The rod feels sensitive and is also very durable. I've beat that thing on the water and used it hard. I tip my hat to St. Croix for a great product!

Comments: DO NOT BUY a 7'6" Hair Jig rod. I broke 2 of them in exactly the same spot, behind the 3rd eye from the tip not counting the tip. One broke when I was lifting a 12" walleye into the boat. I called St Croix and was told to never lift a fish into the boat, no matter what the size. That's crap! The other one broke in the same spot. There is an inherent problem with the rod. I will add that I have 5 other MOJO Bass spinning rods and I love them. This model is a loser.

Comments: I purchased the 6"10"" med light last year because I needed a new rod in a hurry for smallmouth fishing in New York....My initial thoughts:were to by a Lew's, because I was hearing how great their products are...needles to say I was skeptical about buying a St. Croix rod, mainly because I've seen them break time and time again in the past....Anyways, I reluctantly bought the MoJo rod and with it caught well over 50 3-4 pound smalies in a 3 day period....by far it is one of the nicest, lightest and most durable rods I have....The price is perfect, wish i had 3 more of them....One of the best rods I have uaed/tested over the past 10 plus years.....Bottom line, if you need/want a new dropshot rod, you won't be sorry if you grab this MoJo series!!!

Comments: You cant find a better $120 drop shot rod than the 6ft 10in ML. It is extremely light and sensitive. Not only is it a dream setting the hook into a 4+ with this rod, but also it makes dinks feel like hogs. The best part about this rod is the tip, all  I can say is its hard to believe that the rod is only $120. I have it paired with a Daiwa Ballistic LT and by far it is my favorite combo I own. The only complaint that I have about the rod is the lack of a hook keeper. In my opinion, with how great of a company St. Croix is, its sad that they haven't put a weight keeper on the rod. With that in mind, I still can only thank St. Croix for making this rod.

Comments: Great rod for the price. Got it for Christmas and have already caught many fish. Sensitivity is good and the rod itself is strong. St. Croix makes the best, will definitely be buying more!

From: A: Texas 1/6/18

Comments: All my spinning rods are Shimano expride at 3x the cost and I got this 6'10"ml on a broken rod replacement (10+yr old) and I'm impressed. will prob get another. def recommend ml for 4-6lb line. equal to a $300 rod

From: Adam: Castaic, CA 1/5/18

Comments: Decided to get this rod this past year after falling in love with fishing the year before. This rod completely transformed my game. Much better feel and a huge difference in hook sets this year and it showed. I doubled my fish count in less time fishing than my first year. It does make a strange creaking sound around the reel area on retrieve with a decent fish on. Can't trouble shoot it away. Seems like it shouldn't be, but I love what this rod has done for my fishing experience though! My fishing buddies were jealous haha!

From: Brian: CT 12/25/17

Comments: I ablosutely love these rods I have 5 of them I have 2 spinning and 3 baitcaster rods they feel great and I plan to by more

From: Unknonwn: Robbinsville northcarolina 9/17/17

Comments: Have the 68MXF and it's a good rod overall. Like the guides and the handle for casting. Sensitivity is ok and I use it mainly for moving baits(Jerkbaits, small squarebills, small topwaters). Use it mainly for small river fishing. Not a bad rod but again, sensitivity not on par with some other rods in this price range.

From: Tim: Springfield, MO 6/12/17

Comments: Purchased the medium spinning rod few yrs back. Love it !  Unfortunately, I had rare thing happen few weeks ago, and rod broke near top on a cast. Nope, nothing too heavy - just a simple swimbait on 1/8 oz head. :) The cust service at St Croix (Dan) could not have been better. They are replacing the rod with newer version and should get here next Fri.  God bless and tight lines !

From: Mike G - GA 3/10/17

Comments: I have had 6 of the older models. a 6-8 medium extra fast spinning, two 7 foot medium fast spinning, 6-10 medium extra fast casting, the big fiberglass crankbait rod 7 foot 6 and a 7 foot 6 med/hvy mod action casting. I cannot say enough good things about the rods although I have broke 4 of them but were quickly replaced via warranty, If you are looking for good price point rods these are the way to go.

From: Gunther: Marquette, MI 2/27/17

Comments: Bought this rod and paired it with a Shimano Sahara and I have to say its my favorite combo for shaky heads, jigs and frogs. I sort of use it for everything if I cant bring a lot of rods, I really enjoy using it

From: Pike Hunter: Illinois 1/23/17

Comments: I have the 6'9 ml & it is the best drop shot rod out there. I've been able to land 5lb smallies no issue

From: John: MI 8/15/16

Comments: I have the 6'10 medium light & I use it for weightless worms/wacky rigs paired with 10lb flouro. It has the sensitivity of a rod double the price & the strength to get bass out of pretty heavy cover. Excellent rod.

From: Tyler: CT 7/14/16

Comments: I use the 6'10" for all my finesse rigs & it performs flawlessly. Very sensitive with a whole lot of backbone & it loads up great on hookset. Casts 10lb fluoro almost as well as braid. Had to pull a 5.5lber through some slop & it handled it like a champ. It's definitely one of my favorite rods & I look forward to trying out a baitcaster model very soon.

From: Calvin: VA 6/3/16

Comments: I use this rod as my shaky head rod. Best rod I have ever used for shaky heads. The rod has a little tip which seems to help from being too stiff. I had with my 13 fishing omen. A lot less fish lost with this rod. Straight 10lb flouro paired with a pflueger supreme & its money
