Overview

Add some flash and vibration to your favorite soft plastic with the Strike King Tour Grade Belly Blade. Featuring a premium black nickel needlepoint hook with a stainless steel corkscrew keeper to maintain a perfectly streamlined and weedless presentation, it also features Strike King’s exclusive high RPM Raz-R-Blade connected by a premium swivel so it spins faster for more flash and less lift. The Tour Grade Belly Blade can be used with almost any soft plastic bait, but works exceptionally well with soft plastic swimbaits on a steady retrieve. When your baits need a little something extra, try a Strike King Tour Grade Belly Blade.

Comments: I purchased the Strike King Tour Grade Belly Blade in the 1/8 and 1/4 size . Both were 3/0 size hooks and immediately in rigging I noticed no space between hook and swim bait . I missed 3 bass in a row setting the hook because of this issue . I now see I can purchase a size 4/0 bigger hook but the package does not say what size hooks they are . I am sure ordering them I can get the bigger hook , but buying off the shelf. there is difficulty in knowing what size hook I am buying .

Comments: I purchased the 1/4 ounce 3/0 hook and I didn't really look at them good but they will not work for swimbaits because there's no room between the hook and bait it needs to have more gap to be able to get a good hook set.

Comments: Hook not big enough when using a large swim bait. Miss a lot of fish because there is not enough clearance between the swim bait and the hook shank. Needs at least a 5/0 EWG to make a much more effective hook set.

Comments: I got these when my partner suggested another brand, which the store I was at did not have.  I'm retrieving through Tulles, not hitting rocks or docks.   About 1/2 way through the day, I noticed that the barrel swivel was broken, and of course the blade was gone. That is disappointing....  The only saving grace is that the connection to the weight is a split ring.  So I'm going 'Matt Allen' style and changing the hardware to upgraded ring, swivel etc.  That ought to hold up better!!  but I never got bit on it.  Then I changed to what my partner was using and I got several bass and no broken barrel swivel!!
