Overview

After years of research and development with Strike King’s top-level pros and engineers, Strike King pulled out all the stops to gives anglers the highest quality line possible, which is the most critical link between the angler and landing the fish. Starting from the beginning, Strike King Tour Grade Fluorocarbon Line is made using the finest Japanese raw materials and uses a top-secret extrusion process to create a line that is easy to use, extremely manageable, and incredibly tough. Each line size also features its own custom recipe, which provides unique qualities to make each size perform the best for its intended purpose.

Taking things another step further, each spool features an innovative “Sidewinder” spooling tool and tensioner, which allows anglers to properly spool reels without the help of another person or spooling device. Strike King also includes a pre-paid envelope in each package to recycle old fishing line and help protect our fisheries for future generations. Offered in a wide selection of sizes to handle anything from finesse fishing to heavy duty flipping, the Strike King Tour Grade Fluorocarbon Line continues Strike King’s legacy of “Tour Grade” fishing products.

*Please Note – 600yd spools Do Not come with Sidewinder spooling tool or pre-paid recycling envelope.

Comments: Can't recommend this line. Typically throw seaguar line exclusively. Usually tatsu and invisx. Compared to that, this line is awful. It's super stiff. Just cutting the line to retie, it frays and splinters line Ben Stilers hands in Tropic Thunder. Sucks because I love fishing Strike King products. Unfortunately, I won't fish their fishing line.

From: Zach: DE 7/7/22

Comments: It is just ok. But for the price I can't recommend it. I've tried 15 and 20 and was not impressed with either I'm afraid. Sensitive enough but it is considerably stiffer with greater memory than Seaguar Red Label and considerably more expensive. Overall just average line that did not impress me for the price point.

From: Tim: Marion, IL 12/3/21

Comments: This line is junk. Got it free from a friend. Used it for 2 tournaments and its stiff as a anchor rope.....stick to sunline

From: Unknown: 5/27/21

Comments: I am sorry and I don't normally write bad reviews but this line is horrible. The 8lb line has the  tension strength of 6lb at best and most likely 4lb. You can not nick or kink this line or it will most likely break. It can defiantly not handle rock or more then one 3lb fish after another. Once you catch one fish over 3 pounds you have to remove about 5 yards of line because it stretches so much and once it stretches it breaks very easy. I lost 2 fish over 4 pounds in one day and lost countless tungsten dropshot weights that were tied to the line using a jam knot. I would not recommend this line to anyone.

From: Eric: Maryland 9/22/20

Comments: Bought a couple of spools each of 15 and 17lb floro in the spring. Initially the way this line is layed out on their spool, the manageability i thought we had hit a home run. The line nicks and frays on every and any piece of cover you can find. I've never broken more fish off or had to retie and check line cast by cast. Very disappointed!

From: Jeff: Lake Villa 8/5/20

Comments: Purchased some 10 & 12lb test for some smallmouth fishing on a few of the finger lakes. Diameter is good, knot strength was good (double uni knot to braid), did not notice any memory issues as well. The 10lb was giving me some issues every so often by coming off the spool, I purposely made a point not to spool too much on to begin with, may have to try some line conditioner next time and see if it helps, otherwise it performed well for me, fishing open water, around docks, sparse vegetation. Worth a try

From: Pryme Napper: Smyrna, GA 7/29/20

Comments: For decades, I have experienced memory loss over how miserable my previous experience had been with fluorocarbon line (breakage & memory). I would try it again, get infuriated again and throw it out. Having lost the memory of my previous debacle, I thought I would try the Strike King version. The reviews looked good (most reviews are usually good. This time I thought I would try a knot touted by Gary Klein and be a little more attentive to nicks. Well, this line is everything it's advertised to be. I am so pleased, I have switched over several other rods. One drawback, 200 yards for almost $30.

From: John: Lakeland 7/27/20

Comments: I had high hopes for this line. But I've had 2 different spools have numerous bad spots in it. Unfortunately the first time I found this out was while out on the water and my lure went flying on a light cast. Moving on to another brand.

From: Jimmy: Tennessee  7/1/20

Comments: Only tried the 20lb, very stiff, super spoil memory, any positive reviews on this product, must be done by folks associated with SK sales! Absolutely Trash!

From: Unknown: 6/19/20

Comments: Not even sure this is fluoro. Tried because retailer out of my usual p-line fluoro. Stretches like a rubber band and has absolutely no abrasion resistance. Don't try pegging a sinker or even using a stop. Yes a rubber stop burns this line, makes it look like 5 year old braid. Drag it over some wood once and you are re-tying. Very limp, soft and easy handling. But not what I buy a fluoro for.

From: Jim 6/10/20

Comments: Picked up some 15lb from local retailer. Fan of their soft baits and hard baits so had to give it a try. Very glad I did. Most sensitive flourocarbon line I have ever used. Casts easy and so far very little memory if any. Will definitely be picking up 6lb. And 8lb. For drop shop and finesse techniques.

From: Joe: Somerset, KY 3/28/20

Comments: I bought this line to test because I'm always looking for the best product I can use. This is identical to seagar invisx. If I was a betting man I would say they make it for them. If you like seagar you will like this. It has a little more stretch than sunline shooter but thats not a bad thing when it comes to knot strength. Very good line in all sizes.

From: Unknown: 3/25/20

Comments: I purchase some 8-pound test it seems to be really smooth and consistent however it is so clear and small I had trouble tying it I couldn't see it it was like human hair I probably could have bumped up to 15 pound just to make it easier to see and tie.

From: Corky: 3/7/20

Comments: Just purchased some 10, 12, and 15 pound test to try. Spooled up the 12 and after a couple weeks of working with it, it seems to be the softest line ive tried at any price range. Knot strength seems really good also using either improved clinch or double eugene slip knot. I would say its pricey but really good line
