Comments: At first I thought the rod sleeve was great...heavy duty, easy to slip on. Today I glanced over at my rod while driving (I had it in the cab, from back seat leaning onto passenger seat) and I saw that almost all of the eyelets had poked through the mesh. The mesh is heavy duty but the weave is way too loose and allows the eyelets to poke through, which makes it more than useless...now it's just something to snag hooks on. The bad thing is that I ordered another one based on the first impression. Pretty disappointed in Tackle Warehouse for not checking the design on these

Comments: Outcast didn't have any of my usual casting version II rod sleeves, so I bought the Tackle warehouse Standard size for rods between 6' 6" and 7' 6 as an alternative, because they both offer the same black/blue color patters, which was great. The color patterns help me recognize casting rods from spinning in my sea of a rod collection. No sizing issues with the tackle warehouse sleeves what so ever; length, etc fine. If I can ding them for one thing, it's that they have a shorter than expected bungee cord that wraps/extends around the reels. At nearly half the cost of Outcast for the special they are running, I would definitely get more.

Comments: The sizing on these things are so random, I've got some of the gun metal color. One is long enough that it fits my 7'3" rod with inches to spare, others fit my 7' rods just right, and others JUST barely fit a 7' rod

Comments: I usually get a casting black standard casting sleeve with my rods and they fit great. However recently I ordered a standard gunmetal sleeve and it barely fits a 7' rod. Unsure if it was just a defect or not. Just be aware.

Comments: I've received 4 of these over the past week. Quality is good, better than 2 other brands I've been using in the same price range. Worked fine on my 7'2" and 7'3" rods. If you leave the line rigged with longer lure it would leave a small hangover. I'm pleased and will purchase more. I have a tendency to grab my rods down around the last guide, with other brands the guide would pop through especially with micro's. I tested and did not have that problem with this sleeve.

Comments: I had purchased several of these in 2019 and was very happy with the quality and fit. I received several of the different colored ones for Christmas 2020 and was very disappointed to learn that they have changed. I received the standard size and they are way too long to fit my 7'3" casting rods. Because they're too long the top several inches of sleeve curl and make managing your rods difficult.

Comments: Bought 12 of these, I expected them to mimic the same previous sleeves I purchased a while back. I wanted to renew my rod protection and get some u uniformity BUT The new TW sleeves are TOO LONG, no way will the standard size fit on any of my rods shorter than my 7'6 rods". Disappointed. Looks like I need to go back to Walmart for Ozark Trails sleeves..

Comments: First of all, i own 6(5 casting,1 spinning) of these rod sleeves in the standard size. I have never had a problem with them fitting my 6'7" spinning rod, and 6'8"-7' casting rods. I love them.They fit perfectly, but recently i had bought 2 more and now that has all changed. I don't know what they did. Either they have new suppliers making these or they have redesigned them. They no longer fit my rods. The material is different, and the hanging loops are different(they're longer also). On my 7' rods, with the sleeve all the way down to my reel seat, there is still 4" left at the top not protecting my rod tip. I compared them to the ones i had bought last year and they are almost 5" longer than the previous ones.These would be good for 7'6" rods on up. Now, i am in the process of trying to find another one with a strap at the bottom to secure it to my rod, which is a shame because the original ones fit awesome and worked great. Tacklewarehouse, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Comments: I purchased these at a discounted price when I bought a bunch of rods. Glad I did. These look sharp, are durable and the elastic cord is great to anchor the sleeve to the rod. I use the red and black ones on my heavy rods and the blue and black ones on the medium heavy rods and the black ones on my swimbait rods... great way to quickly ID which is which...
