Overview

Designed to meet the demands of professional bass anglers, the VMC Redline Series Hybrid Worm Hooks are made with vanadium steel, the same material used in Formula 1 race cars for a 25% boost in strength. With a compress needle point, VMC’s hook point grinding keeps your hooks razor sharp and maintains positive hooksets thanks to a silky-smooth P.T.F.E. coating for 50% faster hook penetration.

Keeping worms in place, an offset bend at the top of the hook keeps them perfectly in line for greater hook penetration and even more natural presentation. VMC treated each hook eye with epoxy, preventing braid and light diameter lines from slipping out. They come packaged with a Hook-Lok accessory with size labeling for easy organization on-the-fly, helping you avoid the piles of assorted hooks when left unattached. When nothing but the best will do, the VMC Redline Series Hybrid Worm Hooks let you target bass with cutting-edge materials and elite-inspired details that set it apart from the rest.

Worth every pennyI was hesitant to spend this kind of money on hooks. I thought it was all flavor text and no substance. I was wrong. These things stay razor sharp. They are so sharp that they set securely even on late sets or milquetoast end-of-rise rod actions (like working a craw creature bait and you're at the end of your last flutter movement with your rod high). The expoxy is a nice touch and I lose less hooks because of it. This could also be solved by retying more often. But if you use expensive line it adds up. I hammer bass on these with Zman BugZ creature baits. I've found my hook.

Vic hooksThe absolute best worm hooks out there. They keep the plastic on and the fished hooked. Yes there expensive but worth every penny if your a tourney fisherman.

Pricey but betterThere is no doubt these hooks are better than the standard metal hooks. The hooks go deep, even a bad hookset. I like the resign on the hook eye which keeps your line pointed correctly.
