Overview
Vicious No-Fade Braid Hi-Vis Yellow doesn't just resist fading, it simply doesn't fade. Unlike traditional braids that put the color on as a coating, Vicious Braid's Color-Fast technology utilizes a pre-dyeing technique that makes the color part of the line. The specially coated line features 8-carriers ensuring a smooth cast, quiet retrieve, superior strength, and minimal fraying. Vicious No-Fade Braid also has zero-stretch to deliver superior bite detection and hooksets. In addition to zero stretch, the Hi-Vis Yellow color can act as a strike indicator to aid in detecting slackline bites or bites through heavy vegetation. With Vicious No-Fade Braid Hi-Vis Yellow, anglers can eliminate changing their braid due to fading and enjoy more time, and more visibility, on the water.

Comments: Vicious No-Fade braid is the only braid i use. I have it on 4 rods. it really does not fade and it is very strong and the Palomar knot stays put. I have tried other braids but I know better cause I always come back to vicious and will stay with it. The price is high but its worth it. I use both the Hi Vis and the green, I wish they would come out with No-fade black.

Comments: Doesn't fade, but it does get a little dingy looking. Zero issues with memory. It's very thread like and doesn't coil on its own whatsoever. Frays somewhat easy, but it doesn't compromise the line much. The only reason I paid this much is for the non fade properties and it does that well.

Comments: Loved the idea that it will not fade but does to seem to have memory since it has been coiling off my spinning rod and does cut into itself on the spool.

Comments: Fantastic braid!! Just as round & smooth as the competition but the color never fades. When new there is a little waxy coating but that dissapeared after a few outings. This was pretty much not noticable on the 10lb test but was more noticeable on the higher strength versions. After a few trips out it becomes even more limp and better handling. Love this stuff!

Comments: I've tried most braided lines and get disappointed with how quickly they lose color. That, and some of the other brands (832) made an absolute mess out of my reels due to the color/dye coming off the line. Been fishing No Fade Braid for a couple years now and it simply does not lose color, period. Looks as good at the end of the season as it does new. Handles well and is tough also.
