Overview
Painstakingly crafted to bring the biggest explosions to the end of your line, the Xcite Baits Heckler Topwater teases and torments bass lurking below the surface with boisterous sound and rowdy splashing. Dreamed up by Bassmaster Elite Angler Tyler Rivet, the Heckler sashays out of the packaging with perfect balance and a slender body to walk-the-dog effortlessly. If the brilliantly powerful action isn’t enough to grab the attention of nearby predators, the unique acoustic combination will certainly have them homing in like a green torpedo. The Heckler taunts fish with a ball bearing in the rear that gives off a deep one knocker sound while glass beads in the head give off a more subtle noise to get bass to commit to their strike.
Speaking to its exceptional craftsmanship, the Xcite Baits Heckler Topwater features showstopping good looks with brilliant paint schemes, lifelike details, and industry-leading hardware. A layer of realism is provided by the molded gill rakers and mandibles as well as the 3D holographic eyes that ride up at the head of the bait. Dangling below the Heckler, ready to grab ahold of any curious fish, are a set of premium Mustad Triple Grip hooks that are sure to optimize anglers’ hook-up ratios. Designed to be the ultimate topwater lure, the Xcite Baits Heckler Topwater will undoubtedly bring in big bass and bigger tournament checks!

Comments: Did you ever throw the Vixen? Well the Heckler is better! Weighted to be perfectly balanced and has a great side to side walk the dog action! Not to mention they have some pretty sweet color selections as well! When I want to call up the BIGS from a school I reach for the Heckler!

Comments: This is one of the best topwater I've used, may even be better than the vixen, that's how much I love this lure. I did have one issue with one lure that got water on the rear, but the company is standup and backed their product and for that, and the fact this thing moves better than any topwater I've used, and the sound, I'll continue to buy more, 10/10!

Comments: First review I have ever done. Great lure. Out performed the vixen-river2sea-yellow magic- 3 of the 5 days fishing the baits side by side, was even the other two days. Best action was straight to braid, floro caused it to be a bit sluggish, not bad, but enough to where I noticed. Landed well over 30 fish with it, paint still good - minus hook scrapes (to be expected) - hooks still sharp and straight, even after using players to get hooks out. Would recommend.

Comments: Great colors, balanced right and walks very good. I like that they upgraded the treble hooks to the Mustad Triple Grip. I will be buying more colors of this soon.

Comments: Idk what hooks mine came with but it 1000% did not come with KVD Triple Grip hooks. I replaced whatever garbage was on with real KVD Triple Grip hooks. The ones that came with the bait I received bent out on 1 fish. For $15 this shouldn't happen. Go with a River2Sea Rover it's a far better bait for $13.

Comments: This is BY FAR the best walking bait I have thrown. The sound and the ability to make super long casts set this bait apart from the competition. Super sharp hooks and the walking action is amazing!

Comments: Pretty impressed with this bait. This thing walks so easy and I'm glad I don't have to change out the hooks straight out of the package. So frustrating to buy a bait with junk hooks. I only bought the sunrise shad but will be adding more in the future.

Comments: Been hearing about this bait coming to market for awhile now and finally got my hands on a couple. Colors are top notch, super easy to walk and very loud. Very comparable to the original Repo Man and the original Vixen.

Comments: Nice paint jobs on these and I like the KVD triple grip hooks they come with. Unfortunately they are made with a much thicker plastic and they don't give off that iconic sound we got from the Vixen.
