Overview

Delivering a profile and action that is built for speed, the Yum Spine Craw is a must-have craw bait that will become a mainstay in every angler’s line-up. Molded with a compact body and two large claws, the Yum Spine Craw produces a rapid kicking action as it moves through the water, which mimics the movements of fleeing forage that bass find irresistible. It also features angled appendages along the body that displace a generous amount of water and slow down the rate of fall so that anglers can flip with heavier weights for increased accuracy.

Super versatile as well, the Yum Spine Craw is a highly effective flipping and pitching bait, but it is also a great choice for a jig trailer, Texas-rig, and Carolina-rigs. Offered in a wide selection of bass catching colors, the Yum Spine Craw provides exceptional performance that will help you find the top of the leaderboard at your next tournament.

Previous Feedback

Comments: Great Service. I use the YUM Spine Crae on white swimjigs. Perfect combo at times. The claws kick. Catch alot of bood bass in winter and spring. North Central Alabama. Thanks Tackle Warehouse.

From: Unknown: 7/4/23

Comments: Ordered some of these recently. Only tried them a few times. So far have not had any strikes using this lure. Action is similar to paca craw, but legs kick much slower than paca craw. May work better in cool water situations.

From: Stan: Columbus, MS 6/4/22

Comments: Bought 3 packs of these all the claws were kinked and one looked like it was sliced barely hanging on the bags are junk you open them and the seal rips and you cant reseal them I called yum about the bad QC AND Apparently there using the same bags price is good maybe use clam shell packaging just a thought

From: John: Michigan 12/3/21

Comments: Bought the spiny craws when I couldn't find zoom ultravibe speed craws for finesse summer fishing in clear water in Indiana. Works great on 8# line with a 3/0 wide gap hook and a 1/4 oz weight! The claws are a little larger than the speed craw and a little softer for a little more action, but just as durable (surprised me!). Overall, the spiny craw appears a little longer and a bit bulkier, but it doesn't appear to have affected its appeal to the fish. The price is about the same for the two baits but the spiny craw is just a little different. Fished side by side, one or the other may be better on a particular day but not significantly. I've written that off as to how I was holding my mouth that day! It fits neatly on a jig too...but I haven't used it much as a trailer so I can't comment on its effectiveness. They are a good bait and I'll be buying more

From: Miles: Sellersburg, IN 10/8/21

Comments: Awesome c rig bait. Smallies go crazy for the action. In my opinion it's better than the speed craw.

From: Unknown: 9/18/21

Comments: I used them as a swim jig trailer. Very good action. Held up well. Slightly different look. Like em.

From: Merrel: Midlothiam, TX 9/2/21

Comments: Decent durability and action to the claws, only thing is that the bait needs to be moved quickly or steadily retrieved for the claws to get kicking. This is definitely not the craw to use fishing slow with a Texas rig or a jig trailer as retrieving it that slow won't allow the claws to kick as they are supposed to. Works good as a swim jig or chatter bait trailer or even if you fish a Texas rig a little fast, it'll get bites that way too.

From: Darren: Ohio 8/24/21

Comments: Tough as nails limber as jello. Iâve caught 25 fish using this goat on the back of my Mobster swim jig. Great set up that can be thrown into the nastiest cover and still swim out to attract the fish.

From: Mike: Lake Havasu 8/16/21

Comments: Action isn't much for slow lures, better on swim jigs or chatterbaits. Claws tear off way too easy. Yum needs to keep the body as is, but redesign the claws.

From: Unknown: 8/10/21

Comments: This bait slays on a split shot rig when the bite is tough. I like  2/0 or 3/0 light ewg and throw it at the reeds. Works great and its not too bulky. You can thank me later.

From: Hugh: Chulo Vista, CA 7/15/21

Comments: Just started throwing these this year and I must say I am impressed. I fish a lot of Oxbows off of the Arkansas River and throwing these around cypress trees and weeds has been successful to say the least. Seems like you will only get about 3-5 fish per craw which is a little better than what I was using.

From: Zack: Hot Springs, AR 7/7/21

Comments: This craw has replaced a lot of soft plastics in my boat. Watermelon Candy, GP, and Black and Blue, this bait is awesome. Caught twelve today with bluebird sky's pitching docks with watermelon candy. Literally every dock I hit I caught a fish on.

From: Zack H: Hot Springs Village, AR 4/25/21

Comments: Yum, please increase your quality control. It's a neat bait with a different action and profile than most soft craws, but they're kinked up and bent, so it's a waster of 3$. I wanted to add it to my flipping box, swimjig, and trailer box...

From: Kyle: Northern Wisconsin 4/12/21

Comments: I bought a pack of every color tackle warehouse has. Mainly been using them as jig trailers. They have great action and are surprisingly durable. My only complaint is most of them have deformities out of the package. I managed to boil them just enough to straighten most of them out without harming durability. Just aggravating and time consuming. But hey they produce.

From: Ethan: Louisiana 4/9/21

Comments: I got some in each color. Use them on wobble head, Texas rig, and my favorite is on the back of a chatterbait. The action is amazing, especially on the chatterbait! Been looking for trailers that would match fire craw and spring craw jackhammers. This craw matches it very well!

From: Justin: Parsons 2/24/21

Comments: Company's should really use clam packs bought some of these and out of every pack 2 or more are bent in some way. Especially with these the "claws"are so thin they get ruined quicker. And boiling baits works but it softens the plastic making them less durable. YUM use clam packs..

From: Josh 2/18/21

Comments: Good. Use this craw to add action and color to my spinner baits. Good results.

From: Wayne M: Emory, TX 2/12/21

Comments: The action of both claws was not consistent throttle retrieve unless I was burning the bait. I have only tried it as a swim jig trailer.

From: Glen: Alabama 11/5/20

Comments: I recently purchased the 12lb. I love that its made specifically for topwater fishing. This line is really smooth casting. Super durable. My son and I caught close to 50 fish on it our first outing. No issues with line breaking off on any. Id highly recommend this product.

From: Unknown - California 10/03/20

Comments: It seems to be a nice budget alternative to something like the rage craw. I've flipped these with an 1/8oz weight and flipping hook with good success. It doesn't seem to have that rage kick with the 1//8oz but would probably with the 3/16oz. It definitely flaps when being burned so it would be good on a chatter bait or swim jig too.

From: Ryan: Michigan 7/29/20

Comments: BOUGHT A BAG TO TRY AND PUT ON THE BACK OF A 3/4 OZ. HACK ATTACK JIG. NICE TIGHT ACTION ON THE FALL. CAUGHT NUMEROUS FISH ON THEM. JUST ORDERED MORE IN DIFFERENT COLORS. ONLY DRAWBACK ARE CLAWS ARE DELICATE AND TEAR EASY. MAY BE MY NEW TRAILER OF CHOICE.
