Featuring a fantail baitfish profile designed for use as a superior chatterbait trailer, the Z-Man Chattershad has pronounced V-shaped ridges on the top and bottom tail surfaces to increase water displacement and heighten quivering action. Constructed using 10X Tough Elaztech superplastic for extreme durability, the Chattershad is available in a range of popular color patterns that seamlessly match Z-Man silicone skirts for a highly realistic presentation.

The segmented body, tapering tail section, and diamond-shaped cross-section increase energy transmission from the vibration of the ChatterBlade to enhance overall bait action. Complete with dorsal and ventral hook slots for easy weedless rigging, the Z-Man Chattershad is available in sizes that pair perfectly with full-size chatterbaits or smaller bladed jigs like the Z-Man MiniMax.

Would Recommend
The New StandardThis has become my new go-to chatterbait trailer. I pair the 4.5 with the Jackhammer or the new tungsten EVO for largemouth and the 3.5 with the Mini Max for smallmouth. You get the great horizontal tail wiggle with a straight retrieve and some vertical movement (I’m not sure how?) with an off-hand reel squeeze (thanks Tactical Bassin for that tip). And with the Elaztec durability, you get the best of all worlds. As a northern fisherman on a clear water largemouth fishery, my favorite combo is the Hot Snakes color Chattershadz paired with the tungsten EVO in bluegill color.
