Comments: First time I saw this set up was on the Red River by my co-angler in the Ray Scott National Championship. He caught three quality keeps on this rig quickly and told me the success he had with it over this past year. Comments: Wow I did not want to be the only negative comment but anyway. I have tried 4 or 5 trailers and every couple feet the bait rolls all the way over. Changed the snap and it reduced the rollovers. Shame I had high hopes. I throw chatterbaits on fiberglass rods but shouldn't make a difference. I can't believe mine is the only one that does it.

Comments: I use these for making specific color combinations for Striper fishing and they produce really well. I like the big eyes on the head of the bait. Just get some skirts from Zman or Dirty jigs and your favorite trailer and you can make custom colors that aren't available in the ready made chatterbaits.

Comments: Love this bait! First time out, the bait performed exactly as I had hoped. I could basically use whatever form of swimbait I wanted to use. From using Hog Farmer Spunk Shads to paddle tails, I could quickly and easily "match the hatch" effortlessly by changing trailers. The potential combinations are endless. I am already thinking that if they made some of these in 3/4 or 1 oz sizes with larger hooks that the combinations of colors and depths would be endless! I used the 3/8 and 1/2 oz sizes with 4/0 and 5/0 hooks and could fish the 4inch and 5 inch versions of plastics very efficiently. If you are a swimbait type of guy, this is a great way to show them something different with a little more vibration. Great idea, great bait.

Comments: The SG Dragontail bait will give you a different looking fluke action with a slow falling /dying look. Swim it , twitch it and kill in open water and drag it on top and through the weeds, stick ups and junk .. I like it ! has been very durable with a good hook up ratio ... Fish - ON !

Comments: I'm a bank fisherman carrying a minimal amount of gear, and I have really enjoyed how quickly I can change the bait profile and color without the bulk of a skirt. I've caught bass on nearly every plastic bait I have used including Flukes, craw types, every manor of paddle tail, etc., etc. As previously mentioned this is not a jackhammer, but the added versatility at a great price make it a no brained. So if you like rolling your own and being inventive you may want to give these a try.

Comments: I have been waiting for this for a while! Just a blank chatterbait, ready to be customized. If you want it to run deep, put a bulky straight tailed bait on it, no skirt. Staying shallow? Use something with big tails like an Ultravibe speed craw. I feel the fish are getting used to skirts on bladed jigs. Just like buzzbaits. A new weapon in the arsenal for sure.
