Overview
A versatile crawfish profile with claws that flap wildly on the fall and retrieve, the Z-Man Hella Crawz are ideally suited for a wide variety of fishing applications. Originally designed to excel as a swim jig trailer or flipping bait, Hella Crawz are also effective on shakey heads, Carolina or Texas rigs, and when cut down and used as a compact jig trailer. Hella Crawz displace tons of water with a design that incorporates a ribbed body section, antennas, and claws with raised ridges. Made from Z-Man’s proprietary 10X tough ElaZtech material, Hella Crawz are extremely durable and outlast comparable soft baits by a wide margin. Available in color patterns hand-selected by Z-Man pro Mark Daniels Jr., the Z-Man Hella Crawz are offered in a variety of tournament-proven crawfish colorways.

Comments: Great craw! Thicker body for flipping and still not so big that a EWG doesn't work. Colors are awesome too. It's similar to a rage craw or a powerbait chigger craw. The claws flap really good. Plus it's elaztech so it floats up and doesn't tear up.

Comments: I am very pleased with this craw! it was everything I was looking forward to. It has the durability with the elaztech and the action of a rage craw. The claws have great action with very little speed and or movement needed. I am not sure about the first review about the action. could've forgotten to break the claws apart maybe? (they come with the claws attached to each other). I will be using this craw where ever I use a rage craw/crackin craw.

Comments: Been catching lots of bass on these the last week, or I should say on one individual bait.I have it on an Owner screw hook, and it went on very easily and is staying put. I have about 8 bass on one bait so far. The legs move with the smallest movement, and it stands up well with a 3/8oz bullet weight. It would make an excellent jig trailer too.

Comments: Was excited to see that Z-Man was finally making a flapping style craw trailer to put on the back of a jig. After purchasing a couple packs I must say I am disappointed. On the back of a 1/2oz flipping jig there is no action whatsoever on the fall (even with the skirt trimmed short enough that the legs are fully exposed and no skirt material impacting them). In order to get the legs to flap you have to reel it in like a swim jig. Love Z-Man's products, but not impressed by this one (at least for flipping and pitching as a jig trailer).
