Comments: Very impressed with the z-man eye jigs. Finish of jigs is outstanding. The hook seems to be of good quality. I have not used one of the jig heads yet, so I cannot comment on performance. Will let you know soon.

Comments: As others have said, this jig head has a great hook on it, and I've had no issues throwing it on a medium/medium-heavy bait caster. It swims great and bounces off the bottom nicely. I will say, due to the shape of the head and concentration of the weight, bass that jump vertically and head shake tend to throw the hook pretty often, unless they're hooked right in the roof of the mouth. With an open hook you get excellent penetration as expected, but you really have to keep them down with your rod tip on this one. Does well with soft plactics as well as elaztech!

Comments: I use the jig heads specifically on my Alabama rigs. They are small enough to work great on the 2.8" swimbaits and don't bend out. They are perfect!

Comments: I purchased the 1/2oz 3/0 heads, and they're awesome! I found they pair up great with the 4.75" biospawn exoswim swim baits. I'd use the 5/0 hook for 5" Keitechs impact fats. The hook is really stout and made for big fish. Think California Swim Jig Hook. This is not a finesse head for sure. A word of caution though, the bait keeper is designed for the Z-Man plastic and will have to be trimmed down to fit inside normal plastic baits from other companies. The barbs stick up really far, and will only work on larger 4.5" and up keitech fat swing impact type swimbaits, without trimming. I also purchased some 3/16oz heads and 1/8oz heads, the hooks on them are similar to Matt Allen heads from dirty jigs, the eyes on these sizes are unfortunately smaller and don't cover the entire space on the jig head like the 1/2oz heads did. They could have used larger eyes to fill up the extra space and it's disappointing they didn't. All and all it's one of the best jigheads on the market, and highly recommend these along with my other favorites, Storm Costalˇ,Matt Allen/Dirty Jigs, V&M lockdowns..
