Whopper Plopper

The Plopper is an excellent topwater lure for triggering reactions strikes. Fish it with a fast, irregular retrieve in flatter shallow coves and cover water.

Megabass Super-Z 2

The Super-Z 2 is my favorite shallow water summer crankbait. Fish it in shallow, stained water around any wood or rock cover. Deflects off targets like a squarebill.

Old Monster Worms

Big worms are top choices for hot summer fishing. Use the Old Monster on deeper points and ledges, or flip it around any shallow cover.

Megabass S Crank

Squarebill cranks like the S crank are top shallow water lures. Fish the S Crank fast around wood or rock if the water visibility is under 2 feet.
