Megabass X-Nanahan+2
The X Nanahan+2 is my January jerkbait workhorse. This finesse jerkbait will generate strikes when larger ones won't. Fish it around main lake and secondary creek points, over submerged grass or on bluff banks.
Megabass Level Swimmer
The Megabass level swimmer is a world class spybait, and a deadly winter lure. Fish the Level Swimmer on points and over ditches with 6lb line, using a slow retrieve. Target the 10-30 foot zone. Anywhere you catch fish with a jerkbait, the Level Swimmer will catch bass as well.
Blaukat Throwback Power Finesse Jig
Finesse jigs are among the best November lures available to anglers. Fish them on steep rocky banks and bluffs.
Wiggle Warts and Rock Crawlers
The old school wiggle wart is a top January lure if the water temperature is over 50 degrees. Fish it with a slow, stop and go retrieve parallel to rocky banks in 5-10 feet of water.
Yo Zuri Rattl'n Vibe Lipless Crankbait
The Rattling vibe is my favorite cold water lipless crankbait. Fish it over grass and along gravel and rocky banks. Keep the lure close to the bottom and use a slow, pumping retrieve, lifting the lure about a foot off the bottom, then letting it drop back down.
