Don’t believe everything you see & readI've been fishing these for years and have had zero issues to speak of. They're made with a good hooks and quality components by a quality company. Sure you're gonna lose a fish here and there and if you don't, then you're not fishing.

Bad hookupsAgree with others, and it's nice to be part of the "losing fish" therapy group. For two years I've gotten lots of hits but only stick half of them. Fluoro, braid/leader, rod action, doesn't seem to matter. (And for the love of Pete, nobody better lecture me. I know how to set the hook with all kinds of baits.)

Terrible hookupsI was excited to fish these. They get bit!
But.. that’s where the positives end. You will lose so many fish on these - big, small, it doesn’t matter. I tried different rods, letting the fish take it longer, but nothing helped. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone except the people I’m fishing against.

Not as good as they whereThe hook is no good they used to run Gamakatsu not sure what it is now. Heard it was VMC. The drop arm gets you hung up it about 4 cast if your fishing from the bank go with the cool baits one.

NopeI am finally messing with underspins and have been trying a bunch. This one is a no-go. Blade won't turn all the time. Hook seems too thick for the light line we will use. Pass.

I wanted to love theseI wanted to love these but I have lost so many fish on these underspins. The blade also rust. I fish with an underspin 100% of the time when I fish and I can tell you stick with the Cool Baits, or the Northland tackle underspin is comparable but much better.

Stick to the OGHook too thick so you loose a lot of fish. cheap blads and coats is rusted. The blade hangs too low so the profile is bigger just like all other underspins. If you want the best finesse underspin stick with the proven $$$$ winning Coolbaits underspin

Rust after a couple of daysOverall a good bait but ridiculous price for one under spin and cheap hardware is not worth it. A lot of better under spin for better price, good hardware, and quantity. After two days of using this bait, rust started to built up on the split ring and blade.

OverpricedThey work fine but they're way too expensive. They should cost no more than $3 or $4 a piece. A weedguard would be nice as well as an option for a slightly bigger hook.

Good UnderspinHas good action and runs true. Does rust really easily which does bother me for the price.

Comments: This underspin just catches fish, and big fish. I love the keitech 2.8 fat swing on it with a steady retrieve. Whatever it is it just works and they choke it. Quickly became a confidence bait and I try to keep one tied on at all times now.

Comments: This underspin comes in heavier because of the wire. 3/16oz is really 1/4oz. So far they work great and the hook is stronger. They can't swim at high speeds well because they roll over. Just a nice cadence on a slower retrieve works good. The bait does last a few catches longer but gets completely torn too deep to bite a chunk off and use again like a cool baits. Overall I like both coolbaits and this version.

Comments: I bought the 1/8 Tennessee Shad and Naked Shad and have been catching 1 to 3 pounders on my JDM BFS setup. Finally, a 2.8 Keitech Swing Impact FAT Swimbait last multiple catches with that upside down bait keeper. Tactical Bassin hit it out the park with this one. Get yours now!

Comments: Tested this underspin for 6 days on Lake Kerr in VA; almost exclusively fished it with great success. Fish usually chocked it. Very sturdy, strong wire arm, tended to get snagged less often than the Coolbaits version I have used for years. The major advantage is the keeper on the botoom. No bait tearing, a good foundation to superglue your bait to, much easier to get a Zman swimbait on there vs the wire hook type of bait holder. Buying more. Tactical Bassin guys have a winner here.

Comments: I exclusively used coolbaits underspins until I tied this one on and fished it for an afternoon. I was really concerned that the metal drop arm that holds the blade would be easily bent or broken. Well, after catching 6 ice out largemouths on my first trip out this season, one slightly more than 3 lbs, the bait proved to me to be very rugged. It holds tiny swimbaits really well (caught all six fish on the same swimbait) and seems to run true at variable retrieve speeds and the most important thing to me, is that the blade works/flashes and doesn't get hung up/stuck on the swimbait body like it does with the coolbaits lure. I picked up several more sizes.

Comments: Nice product, feels sturdy for such a small underspin. I know it's finesse but it always feels better to me when the hook is not easily bent.

Comments: Absolutely the best finesse under spin I have ever used and I've thrown most. Cool baits was my favorite until I fished this one. Great start up and hook up ratio is outstanding. Only down side is the price but you get what you pay for with this one.
