Big and slowI was really excited to give this bait a try. I was mistaken in thinking it was going to be a lot more compact and faster than normal offset spinners. When it arrived I was very surprised at how big the bait was, think the length of a normal buzzbait. I still gave it a shot anyway. Wow, it moves slow. If you try to speed up your retrieve it will pull back and actually bend out slightly.
Despite that I had a solid hit on it with the first few casts into a nice grassy area. However the fish got off. Then it happened two more times within fifteen minutes. Three solid hits, three lost fish. Cut it off, tied on a different spinner, and immediately started netting fish.
Nope. Not only does it not do any of what I expected, the hook kind of seems to suck.
