Ideal for anglers who want to enhance their presentation with sound or added weight, the Z-Man Rattle Snaker is a patented tool designed for the precise insertion of rattles and weights into the bodies of Elaztech super-plastics and traditional soft baits. Featuring a two-part molded plastic design, each tool includes a stainless-steel insertion needle and push rod to efficiently insert and secure a rattle inside a soft bait without the use of a knife, snips, or other tools. Complete with a surgical tubing needle guard to prevent accidental harm and keep the point sharp while in storage, the Z-Man Rattle Snaker comes with ten Rattle Snaker glass rattles and a built-in storage compartment for holding extra rattles.

It worksI use rattles on my finesse swimbaits bouncing bottom or jigs in winter especially with visibility. The tool comes with 10 rattles so it's worth that and the fact it stores them as well. They insert perfect every time and for 12$ it just saves time. I can't complain. I got what I wanted.
A finger and bait saverI have to give the Z-Man Rattle snaker a full 5 stars. There are no downsides to this and it is really effective at inserting rattles (of the correct size) in baits exactly where you want them.
I can't tell you how many times I have stabbed fingers with sharp worm rattles or pushed them in baits crooked, resulting in them working their way out. This tool has gotten rid of those issues for me and should for you so long as you can judge where the rattle will end up when you use this tool.
I love that it also comes with included rattles and is designed to be able to hold a few. That alone makes it easier and time saving because I don’t have to get the tool out and then get a separate box or contour that holds the rattles, I can just grab the tool and get a bait set up with a rattle in seconds.
If there is one thing that it could do (which isn’t even serious enough to warrant missing a star) it’s that it could be used for bigger rattles, however I believe that Z-Man could just come out with a magnum rattle needle that could fit on the same tool. This could use the same plunger and you could probably store a few big and small rattles together and just switch tips.
Rattle size 3mmThe tool works well and the storage of rattles in the handle of the tool is very convenient especially on the water when putting on new plastics and you need to add a rattle. The rattle size is a finesse 3mm size rattle.
Outstanding resultsThanks so much for making a product like this Z-man! I was tired of my previous process of heating up a little nail, inserting a rattle, then using super glue to close the hole. Perfect for stained water and when the bite is tough.

Works GreatNGL - I was kind of expecting this to be a gimmick but, to my surprise, it works great. Super easy to use and the way it carries rattles is convenient. A bit of Mend-It or 316 Glue seals the insertion point but it works fine without it.
