Comments: I've got to agree with several of the other reviewers - this line doesn't perform as good as Sniper. I've got Crank FC and Structure FC on a handful of my reels and I get much more broken line on those than Sniper. Cost me a big fish today, so back to Sniper I go on all my cranking rods.

From: Ben: Houston, TX 7/13/21

Comments: This isn't a terrible line by any means, but I have my doubts that the line's advantages over my previous moving bait choice (Sunline Assassin) justify the cost premium (especially when you consider you get 25 more yards of the Assassin per spool). I have fished both the 12 and 14. I haven't had any early break offs, but I also check constantly since I really grind my crankbaits. There's no question that the line frays faster than Assassin and it frays way faster than Sniper. Ironically, I'm pretty sure it doesn't stretch as much as Assassin. I think this is Assassin slimmed down to Sniper diameters. This has led to a (predictable) change in the actual breaking strengths (Assassin 15 and 17 become Crank 14 and 16, etc.) I'm not sure. It feels like a strange product. If your fish are really finicky the thinner line diameter may be a selling point. But I actually think that Sunline has offered a more expensive solution to a problem they already solved with one of their other products.

Comments: Tried this in 10 lb and found after testing the breaking strength was only around 6-8 lbs with several different knots. Tested the 10 lb Sniper at the same time and found the breaking strength was always above 10 lbs. I would definitely suggest the Sniper over this line..

Comments: If your cranking a lot of open water or reservoir then this is your line - perfect amount of stretch - ultra low memory - silky smooth casts - I prefer 12 # on all my cranks and this line did not disappoint.. however I can see how it would fray easy .. keep it away from brush & rocks or check your line more often then you usually would .

From: Dean - Las Vegas, NV 9/10/20

Comments: I think this is the exact same line as sunline assassin, just in different diameters.  Good stretch that you need if you fish modern graphite cranking rods.  Line casts great and has low memory.

Comments: I think the 16# Crank FC is where its at for cranking, lipless, and bladed jig applications.  Like stated, it has a bit more stretch/suppleness than other FCs which provides very low line memory and gives that bait a touch more vibration and action as well as really allowing fish to 'get' the bait good.  Highly recommended!!

From: Dan M.: Iowa 4/15/20

Comments: This stuff is pretty awesome. Really flexible, low low memory, good knot strength, and cast like a dream. BUT it has one down fall. It frays really really easy. I have been trying it on deep divers the past couple weeks and I have lost about 6 baits and several 3lb + fish. I do crank around a lot of dead timber and stumps, and after you reel it over the top of one stump, you are probably going to have to re tie. I'll keep using it on my lipless baits and chatter baits but it's not suited for fishing any kind of cover.

Comments: Been using this on my spinning rod and I'm loving it. Simply is the best because it barely has any line memory after I stretch it out, and its thinner diameter allows me to upgrade to a stronger line test. It's super strong as it is and I find that no fish has snapped this line on me yet. Highly recommended this.

Comments: Buy it, you won't regret it. Great product, worth the price.

From: Zac: Wisconsin 4/30/18

Comments: I purchased the 10lb and was shocked by how easily it frays. I had to respool after 2 days of fishing. I really like Sunline Reaction and Structure so I'm going to give Crank another try. Sizing up to 12 or maybe 16#

From: Ben: Reston, VA  4/16/18

Comments: First off I have tried a lot of fluorocarbon for crank.this 10 pound was great with long cast and super strong. With this line on my first time using it l landed a lot of keeper large mouth but also got three 32 inch striped bass. If you like to crank this is the stuff.
