Overview

The Damiki Abyss 90 is a deadly jerkbait that quickly dives down to the 8-foot depth range and produces a tantalizing, tight wobbling action. It also suspends and balances perfectly on the pause, taunting bass to strike. Very effective in cold weather, it’s a great choice for early spring. Available in a range of realistic colors, the Damiki Abyss 90 takes rip bait fishing deeper.

Abyss 90Pretty good bait, it has a bigger bill than I was expecting but that just makes it dig faster, bottom line I caught more fish on this in mossy shad color than I have in 4 years of x rap fishing. Sure it might not be a vision 1-10 but I sorta have a problem spending 25 dollars for a pike to bite off. This caught fish fish time I put it in water. I will buy more.

struggled to get this bait to run decentlyI struggled to get this bait to run in the medium depth it was advertised and also to get it to just twitch and run correctly. The bait struggled to get down past a few feet, caught the front hooks on the line frequently and the action wasn't great. Not sure how realistic the larger bug eyes are, but the other feature of the bait seemed okay. I'll keep trying it, but not anytime soon. I tied on a Jackall Rerange and a Megabass and was able to get those baits to work as intended, so I know the problem wasn't with the tackle I was using.

Comments: Really good value jerkbait. It does suspend well right out of the package, it casts well, and catches fish. I used these for spotted bass in northern california and would've used them for some smallmouth in washington if my friend hadn't lost my last one first cast.

Comments: Fished the Abyss 90 this past weekend in 44 degree water of a highland lake in upper East Tennessee that has a healthy population of smallmouth.  Boated 3 strong fighters, all over three pounds, in quick order.  Suspended without any adjusting right out of the package.  Good action that lured the fish in then they about jerked the rod out of my hand on the pause.  Bought one to try out and am about to order three more after that initial outing.
