These orders will include a complimentary pre-paid UPS Ground return label in the box when the order is delivered. Comments: Pain in the Butt! The know catches the coiled controller head cable as well as the transducer cable. Consequently, the protective sheath has torn, exposing the wires. Going to try something else.

Comments: I'm pretty disappointed in this lock for my ultrex. first of all, the knob is so large and tall, that it is in the way of the trolling motor coiled cord so that, as the head spins around, it is constantly rubbing. I am sure the constant contact will at some point cause problems. secondly, during the initial installation, I used the lock washer and also hand-tightened the locking knob as hard as I could. yet, on my third outing as I was motoring along at 35 mph in rough water, the entire lock worked its way loose and I was extremely lucky not to have lost the trolling motor overboard! the lock simply does not have enough thread engagement, maybe 1/4" or less. I considered looking for a shorter spacer so that the knob doesn't ride so high and will give me more threads so I can screw down the lock tighter, along with using some lock-tite to keep the lock from backing out. However, more likely to just go back to the factory screw and not worry about my trolling motor coming loose again.From: Norm: Sacramento, CA 1/7/21
Comments: Allows me to sleep a little better at a hotel with a boat outside. Easy to install while ultrex is in the deployed position. Definitely worth the money to add another layer of security to the boat.
