Overview

Delivering increased bait life and better performance, the Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp EWG with Keeper takes EWG hooks to a whole new level with its specialized construction. Featuring a bait keeper made from a durable co-polymer, the Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp EWG with Keeper ensures that soft plastics stay locked-in-place, so they maintain the intended position cast-after-cast without sliding down the shank. Additionally, the baitkeeper also prevents tearing to ensure that you get the most out of every bait. Backed by a chemically sharpened hook point, the Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp EWG with Keeper makes a deadly addition to any terminal tackle repertoire.

Great Elaztech hookSuper sharp, great for keeping elaztech baits in place. I put a silicon stopper on the hook to keep the bait from sliding up.

Z-Man Toadz, Frogz, & Shadz !The Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp EWG with Keeper hooks are superior when it comes to Z-Man baits like : Goat Toadz, Pop Frogz, and Pop Shadz. True, its's hard to get traditional soft plastics over the " keeper " without tearing, but not when using Z-Man. The elastic pulls over easily and will not slide back down the shank of the hook. I can reel fast, twitch hard, and have the confidence that my bait will not deform on the hook set! OUTSTANDING!

Comments: These hooks will definitely keep your bait in place if you can get it on there without tearing it up. Pretty difficult. The softer the bait, the greater the issue. For that reason, I opt for other styles.

Comments: These hooks are good if you are using a thicker soft plastic. The keeper is kinda big and tears up thinner baits. I'll definitely be keeping a pack or two in my bag as a cheaper alternative to grip pin hooks. But as I said, if you are using baits that don't have a lot of meat to em, spend the extra and get real grip pins.
