Overview
As the name implies, the Gambler Heavy Cover Southern Swim Jig allows anglers to explore extra-thick cover (similar to that found throughout Southern fisheries) for big, tournament-winning bass. Built with a unique, tapered head shape, the Gambler Heavy Cover Southern Swim Jig slides through vegetation with ease and is equipped with a beefed-up weedguard that helps it maneuver through all sorts of grass, brush, and wood.
Packing more-than-enough power to pull monster bass out of matted slop, the Gambler Heavy Cover Southern Swim Jig is armed with a razor-sharp, heavy-wire 6/0 hook. Outfitted with rubber starflash skirting, the Gambler Heavy Cover Southern Swim Jig goes where other jigs won’t, so it can catch the bass that other jigs can’t.

Comments: I bought a few while on a trip to Okeechobee and I've been hooked ever since. I caught my three biggest bass of 2020 using these, the bass just love them. And my favorite part is that the eyes are painted on and indented, so they don't fall off while coming through the thick stuff like some other jigs.

Comments: This is not a good jig...hooks bends out very easily and skirt comes down every time I catch a fish. Weedgaurd is weak and comes apart very easily. 1/10

Comments: Been giving these jigs a good workout lately. Draws strikes. Gets high marks on coming through grass and pads cleanly. Skirt held up ok and as a bonus seems to have a little more bulk than many other swim jigs. Weedguard near perfect. Hook is fairly strong but IMO needs a little more heft. Was able to straighten hook without too much effort using 50 lb braid and a 7-3 hvy action rod. All in all rate this about a 7/10
