Overview

The Lakemaster Plus Digital Charts are a new family of map card that provides all of the features that you’ve come to love from the original Lakemaster Humminbird Digital Charts, but now allows for aerial image overlay on high-definition waters. Coverage area and lake lists remain the same and both are compatible with most Humminbird GPS models, including ONIX and ION units.

Using high-quality aerial photography, the Lakemaster Plus Digital Charts offer the ability to view the entry and exits of creek channels, see how far a reef or weed line extends, pick out shallow water rock piles, steep drop-offs, and other features of the lake you’ve been missing from traditional maps. The Lakemaster Plus Digital Charts give you the freedom to choose how you want to view aerial imagery.

Satellite Only: This layer shows only aerial imagery and no other map information

Satellite + Land: This layer shoes the Lakemaster map and the aerial imagery that extends around the body of water.

Satellite + Contours: This layer shoes the aerial imagery just the Lakemaster contours, so you can still pick out those features in the water while viewing your depth.

Each map card edition covers some of the most popular bodies of water in the region and the PLUS series also gives you access to all of the Lakemaster features, including the following:

Comments: I used Navionics for years and loved them. I accidentally left them in my unit when I sold it so I decided to try Lake Master when I switched to Humminbird. Very disappointed so far. I never went to a lake that wasn't on my Navionics chart but so far I've already been to 3 lakes that are decent sized lakes that weren't on it. Wish Id had a lake list before I bought.

Comments: Be careful when buying these map cards. If you open one to find out it isn't what you need, you're screwed. If you read all the way down to the bottom of the description you'll see that you can't return or exchange them once they have been opened. Unfortunately I didn't see that when I purchases the card. Seem's kind of dumb since you can't just look at the package and know it doesn't have any of the lakes around you on it, even though its your region. Sure, Humminbird has a lake list on their website, but have you ever tried finding it? Good luck...and there is no lake list on here. I'm not saying this is anyone's fault but mine, I'm the one who didn't check ahead of time since my buddies have all the lakes on Navionics. I'm just saying, be careful....
