Overview
Imported directly from Japan, the Imakatsu Javallon Gill 110 is one of the most realistic and natural looking bluegill imitations ever created. Featuring a segmented body that produces an alluring swimming action, as well as, an inter-core weight balancer system that is tuned for a slow sinking rate-of-fall. The inter-core weight can also be removed to achieve a floating presentation. The plastic itself has also been balanced, so that the Javallon Gill delivers a perfect posture when swimming, floating, or sitting on the bottom, which makes it a great option for a variety of applications.
The best way to rig the Javallon Gill is sideways Texas rigged with a 5/0 Decoy KG Hook for a flawlessly weedless profile. The Javallon Gill also works well with a line-thru stinger hook rig and on a drop shot rig as well. Make sure to watch the featured Product Video above for full rigging instructions.
The Javallon Gill is made from tough yet durable plastic that allows for maximum action, but does not sacrifice structural integrity after multiple aggressive fish attacks. Available in highly detailed finishes that are second-to-none, the Imakatsu Javallon Gill 110 is an absolute must-have for swimbait enthusiasts.

Comments: So first of all my overall initial impression of this thing was amazing. I finally got to get out today to really test this bait and it went very well. So the top part of the bait needs to be super glued with the factory weighted system or you're going to lose it on fish. I also recommend placing a tungsten nail weight in the bottom part of the bait towards the front because this thing likes to swim towards the surface so the nail weights are a must. I fished this today for a few hours and I'm able to say bass FOLLOW this thing like no other so you just have to get them to commit, if it's from pausing it or twitching it. Hook up ratio was not impressive with this bait as a handful were lost due to not connecting. Another issue is durability. I got two fish out of my first bait and for the price I think that's unnaccepatble. If these things were substantially cheaper then it would be no issue but the price is a little expensive. Overall I'm very impressed with this bait and it swims amazing. It catches fish and receives a lot of big followers. I'm tough on reviews so take this with a grain of salt but give this thing a try. Bass think this is a real bluegill.. heck I think it's real when I see it swim in the water.

Comments: Suggest you try a little silicone caulk (my preference) or super glue on the weighting system. First trip out I had to put it up or lose the weight. Swimming action was amazing, just didn't want to lose the foam in the top.

Comments: Nothing out there swims like this bait. However I used it all last summer and didn't get a single strike. I'll try it again next spring and summer. I love the action of this lure and don't understand why it didn't produce. Last year was my personal best with six plus six pounders. So the fish are there but didn't strike this lure.

Comments: Super glue the soft plastic weight if u don't want it to come out. It looks and swims identical to alive fish. Beats anything I have seen.
