Overview

Featuring a unique swimbait head design, which securely locks soft plastics in place and distributes weight perfectly, the Jewel Baits Swim Gem Jig Head eliminates the most common problems associated with rigging and fishing soft swimbaits. Its unique boomerang-shaped head provides a realistic, streamlined baitfish appearance, while perfect weight distribution under the nose keeps the bait upright and prevents rolling. Computer designed and precision cast, Jewel Baits uses only the highest grade of lead, and each Swim Gem Jig Head features a black nickel Mustad Ultra Point Hook for solid hook sets, as well as, a Jewel J-Lock bait-keeper system for securing your soft plastics. Ideal for burning, slow rolling or bed fishing, the Jewel Baits Swim Gem Jig Head is available in Chrome or Shad colors.

Comments: Great jig head. One of my favorite for Keitech swim baits. It does not have a keeper barb which would make them hold the swim bait in place better but a drop of super glue fixes that problem. Have used them for years.

Comments: Great head. I find the wire pushed through the plastic and hooked on the shank does well holding the bait. It definitely helped me get a few more fish on my Keitechs.

From: Stephen: NJ 1/4/15

Comments:  I like the concept and it swims well, however, there's nothing on the shank to help keep the swimbait in place, the only thing is the wire over the top.  Because it's so thin it soon starts to tear the bait and then it starts sliding down due to no help on the shank.  A couple big barbs where the weight meets the hook shank would make this the best head on the market.

Comments: By far my favorite swimbait head.
