Comments: This falls into the "Great Idea, Bad Execution." Of the 6 that I've bought, 5 have had the plastic screw in part break off. The first few I sent back to TW and they replaced them, and then those broke too. I'm not bothering returning them. Have no idea why Keitech made the screw part made of plastic. A pair of times, just casting the bait made the plastic screw in part break off. The other times, catching a fish caused the breakage. Hope Keitech goes back to the drawing board on this one, because it's a great bait, but durability is a definite problem.

Comments: These swimjigs are great haven't had any issues like the other reviews, fish catching baits would like to see more colors available. Caught a 5lb bass at a small lake that gets fished alot and for the lake it self thats probably the biggest they get

From: Jorge: Oakland, CA 7/20/21

Comments: So many bad reviews I like this jig a lot I don't pick up much debris and never had a problem with a swim bait trailer at all I double back the hook and catch fish like crazy on it jus sucks when pickerel or pike steal it

From: Mike: Corning, NY 7/27/20

Comments: I too had issues with this jig. For me the weights have fallen off and before that it got hung up on every bit of light grass. Would not recommend.

From: Jon: Maitland, FL 5/13/18

Comments: Mine might of been part of a bad batch, but WORST lure ive ever used, the tungsten that held the skirt (which falls apart before you can even get a second cast) wasnt welded shut i could pull on it and bend it off the eye of the hook like it was a paper clip. then, i was left with just a jighead.

From: Unknown 11/27/17

Comments: I use the Model III swim with the Fat Impact 4.8. Problem with the trailer staying in the screw. Would a little super glue on the screw keep in attached. UGH! But it does catch fish.

From: Casey: IL 6/17/16

Comments: I use a Gamakatsu size 4 or 5 belly weighted hook with a screw lock on it for the Keitech swing impact FAT. Works great! awesome action, never lose the bait of the screw lock, and the hook is plenty big. Also the belly weight prevent the bait from rolling or retrieving tip down.

From: Kevin: Hopkins, MN 9/17/14

Comments: Been using these with the fat impact 4.5" and lets just say it works.  I would give this jig a 6 out of 10.  It catches fish but it catches slime/weeds easily as well and hangs up easy.  Hook is plenty big unlike what others say.  The paint on the head chips off almost immediately and this is a huge disappointment for an expensive jig.  I'll keep using these because i like how they move through the water and i love the colors.

From: Zeth: Oakland, CA 8/3/14

Comments: Awesome incredible action because the swimbait trailer can rotate and flap freely because the keeper pivots freely on the jig head. But the hook is way too small and any thicker trailer will leave you losing alot of bigger fish when they start to jump. I lost 4 4-6lb largemouth in a few hours when they ran and jumped, penduluming the bait right back at me right at my feet. Very disappointint. I'd buy a bushel of em if they made an EWG no jack hook.

From: AJ: WHitehouse Station, NJ

Comments: Very good looking jig and crazy action when hooked up with the fat impact.  But it's useless if there is even a hint of weeds around.  It will catch every single one of them.  It's too bad as I really dug the design.

From: WoodT: MN

Comments: this jig has unbelievable action under water. as for the screw, i have had problems with the plastic staying put when i use really soft handpoured trailers, but i used a chiggercraw today and like hector said, the body of the bait tore before the head came off, so. i really like this jig and i am going to have to pick up a few more because a pickeral took mine today.

Comments: Yeah i got about a dozen and lost a few. Regarding the screw, it works just fine and i use Keitechs plastic and the part where the hook goes through gets torn before the head does for me after a few fish.

From: Hector: MN

Comments: Hector, have you tried it?  It doesn't matter because the threads are so small.

From: John

Comments: Youre supposed to screw it on, not push.

From: Hector, MN

Comments: good quality construction but only complaint is the bait keeper.  My fat 4.8 does not stay on with tex posed or embeded rigging.  The bait will be great if it uses the hitcher keeper instead, the plastic just don't grab.  If someone figures it out, please post it.  Thnx
