Comments: Paired with a Medium Daiwa Aird X rod, my entire setup with line (30lb braid) & 1/4oz lure weighs a hair over 10oz. Super light! I set this up with a test rig by putting on a 3/16oz drop shot weight wrapped in packing bubbles. I got a good 20-25 yards on every cast & when I removed the packing bubbles & just cast the 3/16oz weight it went 40+ yards. I am very impressed. I am new to baitcasters this year but it was literally difficult for me to backlash on this rig. I had to turn the brakes all the way off & really whip my rod during the cast. This reel is awesome, even better than my Tournament MB that I got last month. I am sure the revised edition of this reel that just got announced will be just as good.

Comments: This is my first reel made by Lews and i'm very impress. I got this pair with a browning superlite 7ft MH rod and this combo is my lightest set up. I can fish this all day. I haven't pull any hogs on this yet but i can tell that this reel is going to last me a long time. I use abu garcia reel with higher price tag and i feel like this braking system on lews is so much better and easier to work with. Will be buying more for sure.

Comments: I got this reel recently and I can say I am very happy with it. It cast pretty well even with little weights (I can fish spinning reel finesse stuff with this reel) and dam it is light and still feals solid. The visual aspect is on top, I cant say enough of this reel, now I am pretty much sold to 13 fishing and Lew's for baitcasters.

Comments: I've got it all, shimano, abu, lews, quantum etc and all I'm gonna say is wow. This reel blows em all out the water. So far I think I like it more than both of my tournament pros. Definitely going to buy more. Super light and cast like a bullet. I am sponsored by lews but believe me I would be saying this if I wasn't.

Comments: I just got this one and the Tournament MB and have used a few times so far with Suffix braid on both for jigs and swimjigs.Have the MB on a 7'3 13 fishing mh rod and this on a 7'2 mh Tatula rod.  About the same size as the MB but the MB is a tad smaller at the front. The MB is shaped slightly more pointed at the top front where the line guide is. I think cause its part of the LFS series, but just barely a difference in shape. This LITE is slightly rounded more, closer to the shape of the Tournament Pro to me which I have also and love. Both reels are amazing smooth on the retrieve. Both reels cast a 3/8 jig amazingly far with barely any effort and little dialing in on the breaks. I haven't tried anything lighter on these yet though. Total quality on these reels and solid. I have no problems with the Drag on either reels. The drag on this light seems very strong to me. I tightened it up to test and does not budge. Same with the MB. Love Lews cause just get no problems such as birds nests with light lures and still long long casts.

Comments: Super "lite," casts everything a mile, no trouble casting a light crankbait INTO the wind, drag not that smooth and not a ton of torque, but will work GREAT as an all around reel. Definitely would recommend this to anyone.

Comments: WOW!  Great little, light reel!  I fished it today for about an hour with a senko. Nothing caught, but very smooth, VERY quiet reel!  Palms well, a little larger then a 50E Shimano. Well built and very solid feeling reel! The only knock I can determine is the dial on the side is a little difficult to turn. Meaning, I have big hands and my fingers do not fit in there too well.  But, no difficulty with turning the dial though. Just my big Gorilla hands!
