Customer Reviews

Comments: I got this rod on clearance in 7' with micros and have been using it for about a year now and can honestly say it is by far the best rod I have owned. Pulls in fish with ease. I'm using the Lew's BB1 with it and together are light, sensitive and strong. I need about 3 more and I will be happy.

Comments: I bought the medium action rod for some weightless worms and fluke applications and went out and used it today. To my amazement, and I have no idea why, but the leader knots go through these micro guides flawlessly. I have quite a few other brands of rods with micro guides and all of them catch this same leader knot every cast. I am honestly thinking about selling all of my rods and replacing all of them with these because of how well they work. I set the hook on a bass today as hard as I could just to see if I could break it so I knew if they were durable. I had braided line on and that medium action rod held up fine. I would be happy to use these for everything!

Comments: I chose this rod over the St. Croix Rage, Skeet Reese, and Abu Garcia Veritas, having never used a Lew's product. I'm very glad I did. This rod outclassed every rod in means of backbone, sensitivity, feel, lightness, craftsmanship, and it is just all around incredible! I think about the bites I was missing before this rod! Doesn't balance that well with my Abu Garcia Orca Sx reel, but I'm so impressed with this rod that I plan on buying a Lews Tournament Pro reel to balance it out! Very satisfied!

Comments: this rod is balanced well and feels good But the micro guides suck with braid and bend very easy and paint chips easy still good rod but if you can save for the team Lew's or go cheaper and get there new hm 365 rod.

Comments: Bought this rod having never used a Lew's product.  Seems great, the 6'6" is a good dropshot rod for me, I like them a little stiffer.  I use this over the St. Croiux dropshot rod I have.  Very sensitive with great backbone.  Will probably check out other Lew's products.
Pulled a 3lb bass today w/o a problem.  Hopefully more when the weather warms up.

Comments: good strong rod but feels a tad heavy for my taste, easily compares to a veritas but would much rather spend $10 more and get a micro guide falcon bucoo.
