Taking amphibian-style attraction to the next level, the Lunkerhunt Popping Frog delivers a heavy splashing attraction that prompts heart-pumping blow-ups. At the front, the Lunkerhunt Popping Frog is built with a cupped mouth that slaps against the surface, creating a spray and a gurgle that big fish can’t resist.
At the rear, the Lunkerhunt is adorned with two anatomically accurate legs, which extend and retract with each twitch. Incredibly weedless, the Lunkherhunt Popping Frog is armed with a razor-sharp double frog hook that hugs tight to the body and allows it to move over matted vegetation with ease. Comments: My buddy got one of these (green, of course) from one of his non-fisherman buddies. He put it on one day because he had just lost a Spro frog to a northern. It was kind of a joke deal. Well, this thing actually came through grass surprisingly well even though it has a cupped face. And it got bit and he hooked every fish that hit it. The legs are kind of goofy looking and only kick marginally in open water, but it caught fish.

Comments: All the hollow body Lunkerhunt baits have great color schemes, decent hooks (easily sharpened and /or replaced after that) & their plastic tears easily. Their frogs are no exception. I've bought just about every brand of hollow body frog made. As w/every one I've used- I take it out of the package, look at it's design- looking for things that might be an issue & do something to it to prevent that from happening, whether it's using a marker, changing hooks, trimming skirts- or taking legs off & putting skirts on, waterproofing, adding rattles or weight, use super glue & other products if necessary. Do this with Lunkerhunt's products and you'll catch fish. Then, as you would w/any other soft plastic- you'll need to grab the bag and put a fresh one on- and keep fishing. Treat Lunkerhunt hollow body baits like a bag of your favorite brand of worms. Buy several because their plastic's gonna wear out pretty quick.

Comments: Not my favorite. The legs dont really create much action and they don't even pop that well. I'll stick with my spro frogs.

Comments: I took one cast and the legs don't even swim. It was a waste of money.

Comments: Biggest piece of trash on the market right now, ONE cast and the weight flew out of the body and was toast. Me being me I bought another and while swimming it thorough light vegetation the leg came clean off. I didn't super glue the legs on but they should now come out that easy.

Comments: Well if people would use common sense and look at the frog before they use it they'd realize super gluing the legs is a great idea. Once you do that they are amazing frogs. For those who say they take on water, yes they do just like every other frog lure that has ever been created because they have to. If they were water tight they wouldn't be able to collapse when a fish bites them. Use your head people. Fishing is a mental game and the more intelligent you are the better fisherman you are.

Comments: Slightly disappointed with the frog. They take on water fairly quickly. I super glued the legs before I used it and they were fine. Does not come through vegetation whatsoever (expected with a concave face). I found that the hooks roll inside the body under a hookset and have caught (few) fish with one hook only, and the hooks rolled away from the body, rather than the frog going inside out like a normal frog. The hooks have penetrated the body twice in an hour of fishing, once off a cast and once off a missed fish. Not a fan. Not bashing Lunkerhunt for their concept, it just has too many flaws. Comments: Lunkerhunt is junk, I purchased 2 frogs & used them each for 10 minutes & all the legs broke off. I sent photos to Lunkerhunt & asked if I could purchase spare leg's for my broken Lures. They emailed me & said no they are not able to help me. I will never buy another Lunkerhunt product. Totally disappointed.

Comments: I bought some of the other lunkerhunt frogs before, I decide to give the popping frog a try. They had a good idea when they design these frogs, but I think they should be called "the little bucket frog" because they only stay on float for the first couple of jerks of the cast, I had to squeeze the water out of it EVERY SINGLE CAST. I own many other frogs and they all get water in the cavity every once in a while but these frogs definitely collect water like a little bucket
