Overview

The M-Pack Lures Flippin' Jig offers top-of-the-line performance and an innovative weedguard that allows anglers to navigate through thick cover in search of big bass. Built to handle nasty terrain with ease, the M-Pack Lures Flippin' Jig features a specially shaped head, sleek recessed line-tie, and a unique Structure Guard weedguard.

Unlike traditional weedguards, the Structure Guard weedguard deflects cover without collapsing, which keeps the hook point covered and prevents hang-ups. When bass bite down, the Structure Guard is designed to roll to the side, exposing the hook point and facilitating strong hook sets. To add a trailer to the M-Pack Lures Flippin' Jig, simply slide the connecting grommet up the weedguard, place your trailer on the jig, and then slide the grommet back over the hook point.

Accented with a 52-strand silicone flash skirt, the M-Pack Lures Flippin' Jig pulses and flares with a highly visible, mouthwatering action. Armed with a sticky-sharp 5/0 Gamakatsu hook, the M-Pack Lures Flippin' Jig gives angler the ability to uncover bass hidden in the deepest cover where other jigs don’t dare go.

Comments: I really wanted to like this jig. The paint doesnt chip, the skirt is amazing, and the hook is razer sharp(all quality parts) BUT the weed guard is terrible. I have thrown it on multiple occasions and on multiple set-ups ,and the hook up ratio is about 30 to 40% at best. The weed guard doesnt deflect cover anymore than a regular weed guard, and seems to inhibit bass from getting the hook. Couple things to improve this jig: 1. give it a regular weed guard. 2. lower the price by 2 dollars.

Comments: They are an ok jig but for $7 a piece, I expected better. I had issues with two of the jigs that received that would not hold the weedguard properly due to a stretched out o-ring. I won't be buying any more after my experience.

Comments: I have been fishing with this jig for a couple years now. I still have the very first one that I bought. It is very rare to get hung up, and even when you do you do not get hung up near as bad as with a traditional jig. I'm definitely not afraid to throw this jig into anything. Where I fish, it is mostly brush and lay downs. While it is no Lake Fork timber, it can still get thick and I've lost countless jigs in it until I got this one. I highly recommend. They are a little expensive, but I have saved money in the long run.

Comments: M Pack needs to make a wacky style hook with this weedguard. Those double metal wire weedgauards that hook under the barb of the hook sucks. Do the same thing you did with the jigs but on a wacky style hook & i can guarantee it will work.

Comments: What an awesome jig! In the first week of using the 3/8oz spring craw I've caught an 8lb 5oz and an 7lb 11oz bass including a few more over 5. This jig can come through any cover you put it through. Better than any other jig I've fished.

Comments: I can not begin to say how much I love this Jig, the design is very good and I rarely get hung up. I have a lot of confidence in the Pb&j. Just a great all around color and flat out catches big fish. If you are considering this jig give it a try. It may cost a bit more but you will lose way less which also cuts down on frustration on the water and time. Great product, I plan on catching some big ones with the flipping jig this spring and with out question dragging the football head around this summer!

From: Kolby: Houston, TX 2/11/15

Comments: This style weed guard really does work. This jig is incredibly snag resistant but has a great hookup ratio. A little bit price for an all-around every day jig, but worth it for pitching around heavy timber.

From: Shane: Santee, SC 9/13/14

Comments: During the last 30 days I have caught at least 10 bass over 7 pounds and countless others on a 3/8 oz. PBJ flipping jig with a Yum Y 2 trailer. The design and hook up ratio is superior to the old style fiber weed guard jigs. While the structure guard jig does cost more than comparable others, it nets out due to the fact that this jig is difficult to lose if you take your time to retrieve it.  It is amazing how easy this jig comes through heavy timber.

From: Alan: Hanover, VA 9/7/14

Comments: Bought some of these and now regretting it. After about an hour of fishing the rubber piece that holds the weed guard became loose and the weed guard started falling to either side. I can tell you that this jig without a weed guard is worthless and got caught up on every piece of wood I was pulling it across.

From: Billy: KY 7/9/14

Comments: I remember the first time I ever fished with this jig. We were throwing into the thickest tree roots you could find on Lake Fork. Any other jig you would lose in this cover, but with this jig only the head was getting caught which took a couple slack line pops to pop it loose. This is my exclusive jig now, with PB&J being the best producer.

From: Zach: Houston, TX 7/8/14

Comments: I do not think its worth seven dollars head design is not terrible I think the weed guard is just a gimmick if you spread your weed guard and have a descent jig you will be fine good jig no better then any other not worth $7 when you still loose them in rocks

From: Brock: Mt. Gilead, OH 6/11/14

Comments: Bought the football head jigs and have been amazed at how well they work. Hookup ratio is fantastic, and even in the worst rock piles the finish hasn't chipped or worn off. Immediately ordered the flipping jigs and haven't been disappointed with those either. Excellent product.

From: Wes: Gray, Maine 6/10/14

Comments: I have fished this jig for about two years and it is the best jig for flipping thick cover. I fish Lake Fork which has a ton of stumps. I love to throw a jig just past roots and hop it into the roots. I will then pop it against the bottom of the roots to create a sound like a crayfish pinching its claws. The jig does not hang up in roots. I also like to throw past trees and drag the jig back up the trees, and when it gets to the limbs or V in limbs it sometimes gets hung but when it does a simple push down on the line and the jig guard rolls out of the V free. I used to lose 3 to 5 jigs a day fishing like this I have not lost a single jig in over a year fishing the same cover has before.

Comments: I love this jig and  the color selections. I fish from the the bank a lot and can get this jig unhung really easy. It blows my mind what I'm able to fish this jig around and in. If you looking for a big fish bait this is your jig. Favorite color are bama bug and spring craw. You'll be surprise guys and gals what this jig can come through. Great for swimming, pitching and flipping.
