Overview
When a company goes to the trouble of putting a patent on the claws of a trailer you know the action and appearance must be something special. NetBait did exactly that with their Paca Chunk trailers. The patented design gives the claws of the Paca Chunk an action never before seen in a trailer. The Paca Chunk works great as a jig trailer or it can be fished on a round ball jig head. NetBait also incorporated a solid body on the Paca Chunk so this trailer will stay secure anyway it is fished.

Comments: A very versatile trailer. I caught fish this past weekend with it on a swim jig AND on a casting jig. Yes, you will go through a few of these in a days worth of fishing. I went through two bags in one day. Oh well, they are cheap. Try them!

Comments: Paca Chunks are great trailers for Jigs Jackhammers, The flexibility of these baits lead to some big fish catches. Great colors for a variety of lakes and situations

Comments: Been fishing the Paca Chunks for years now. They are hands down my favorite trailer and the only one I use throwing jigs. On the fall the claws flutter and swim giving your jig additional action that other trailers don't. My only gripe is that the claws are prone to getting ripped off on short bites. A small price to pay for the best trailer on the market.

Comments: Once the water hits 65* only trailer i've used in past 15-20 years. Amazing action, just too much when the water is cold. The RI Beaver comes out to play when the water is cold.

Comments: Bought these per Tacticalbassin's recommendation and was not disappointed. Claws have a good flapping action that I like and have confidence in. Not uncommon to burn through a pack in a day, though.

Comments: Favorite trailer. Seems to just get bit regardless of clarity or conditions. Bluegill Dirty Jigs Swim Jig with a toledo special is my go to. Only downside is that the flappers don't last long. They flap so hard sometimes they will hook themselves on the hook.

Comments: Best action, durable as hell, if i had to use one for the rest of my life this would be the one!
From: Unknown 4/18/21
Comments: This is by far the best swim jig trailer I have ever used for swimming right above the grass line. I have had explosive strikes from bass that can't stand the action of the claws.
From: Russ: Verbena, AL 12/20/20
Comments: If I could only have one jig trailer, this would be it. These NetBait Paca Chunk aren't too expensive and work as well or better than anything else in virtually every jig presentation, from dragging a football head jig, to flipping or pitching a arcky head jig and also swimming a swim jig. The flip flop of the arms drives bass crazy! The only times another style of trailer seems to do any better is when flipping or pitching into very heavy weeds where a rage bug style bait tends to get through the weeds a little better, but fortunately in the northeast we rarely have weeds that thick.

Comments: I love these as jig trailers. Fantastic action! Paca Chunks are pretty sturdy trailers, and they come in great colors. Try the tiny size on a SK Bitsy Flip or Bitsy Bug jig and you have a super compact combination that catches bass all season. It's a small package, but I've caught some 4, 5, 6lb bass on this set up.I fish it mostly with the 1/4oz jigs on spinning setups with 10lb braid/ 10 or 12lb flourocarbon leaders. It's a very sensitive setup that catches tons of bass both LMB and SMB. And of course the bigger sizes are killer on full size jigs.

Comments: The straight brown is my favorite trailer for pumpkin and brown. The action is one of the best I've ever seen on a plastic craw. Swim it slow or shake it around, this is money. I have never had a bite on the drop though
From: Vinny: Sacramento, CA 4/9/19
Comments: My favorite jig trailer bar none!! Put a Paca Chunk on a 3/8 Bitsy Flip and HOLD ON MARGRET!!! My favorite colors are Black/Blue and Green Pumpkin/Purple. But I've had success with almost any color I've used. Take a small Paca and put it on a Ned shrooms head and its an excellent slow bite bait on the river.
From: Jamie: 2/2/19
Comments: The Paca Chunk is a cool compact trailer for jigs. I mostly use them on War Eagle jigs as trailers, and they usually last about 6-7 fish. They stay on the jig well and have an excellent action. Great price and colors. I also sometimes use them by themselves on a 1/16oz ballhead jig for stream Smallmouth. Certain times of the year they the biggest bass in the stream.
From: Monty: Chicago, Illinois 8/24/18
Comments: These are great trailers with tremendous action but they aren't that durable. Just like some of the other reviews, I'll stick to cutting down the Paca Craw.
From: Grant J: Paris IL 7/3/18
Comments: My go-to trailer when I'm trying to throw a small, compact presentation. Okeechobee chunk with a trimmed SK bitsy bug is killer on some of these pressured Ohio ponds. Like others, claws come off easily. Buy two bags...hang on!
From: Michael: Columbus, OH 6/1/18
Comments: Great trailer but they aren't that durable at all. Might stick to just cutting down other craws for trailers
From: Zachary: Indiana 2/27/18
Comments: These jig trailers are amazing. They flat out catch fish. Only negative I would give is that the claws will catch on the hook at times (they fold over the bend of the hook) since they are attached higher up on the body of this trailer. And the claws get ripped off fairly easily when a bluegill picks at the bait, so buy a lot of them! You will go through them fast in the spring time when the bite is hot. This is my go-to trailer during the spring time when Im throwing an 3/8oz Jig.
From: Jake - Minnesota, 12/14/17
Comments: When it comes to a jig trailer, I never thought I would use anything other than a rage craw, until I found the Netbait Paca Chunk. A Sun Perch Paca Chunk trailer on the back pf a PB&J color 3/8oz finesse jig on 14-17 fluorocarbon is deadly when flipping shallow wood and rock piles!! Highly recommended!
From: NYAngler 10/20/17
Comments: The claws connect about halfway down the body of the bait. This causes them to constantly get wrapped around the hook of the jig. I'd say it happens about 25-30% of my casts - especially if I'm skipping or casting the jig. I like the action, but 5 seconds to unwrap the claws every 4-5 pitches adds up over 8 hours of fishing. If you like the action of the claws, buy the Paca Craws so you can keep the claws further down the jig.
From: Nick - 6/26/17
Comments: These trailers have an awesome presentation. I prefer a Dirty Jigs football jig and have had a lot of success using these as trailers, they just seem to have a subtle natural action to them, and work finessing hopping it on the bottom and work equally as well swimming. However they do not last. You will have to replace them after almost every bite, as the claws rip off with ease. Even striking cover, or missing a fish with a hook set will rip them off. Awesome for catching fish, but have absolutely no longevity.
From: Dave: Saluda, Sc 5/28/17
Comments: The Paca trailers are ok but the claws tear off and constantly wrap around the jig hook. I took 10 to 15 packs out of my trailer box for those reasons. I kept the Zoom Fat Albert, Creepy Crawlers, Zoom Chunks, Eakins Craws, Guido Bugs, and Crock- o- gator Ring Craw. Again, there ok but who needs that hassle.
From: Bigfish: Kansas City, MO 12/10/16
Comments: Great bait. I stuff them with pipe insulation that has been soaked in berkley gulp then carolina rig them. they get slammed by LM and SM. Try it.
From: John: Dracut, MA 9/14/16
Comments: Amazing bait, but not durable. I have ripped arms off just pulling them out of the package. I still buy them though, just wish they were longer lasting
From: Derek: CT 7/9/16
Comments: the pack chuck is the best all around trailer I have ever used. They have the action I am looking for and the color selection is awesome.
From: David: Eddyville, KY 4/8/16
Comments: I first started using Paca Chunks a few years ago when fishing on Kentucky Lake. I loved them from the first time I put one on the back of my jig & this is now the only trailer I use.
From: Tim: Brownstown, IN 4/8/16
Comments: One of the best trailers out there. The claws have a unique zig-zag pattern on them that makes them flap, even with little movement of the bait. Works good on anything from flipping jigs, football head jigs, swim jigs, and maybe even spinnerbait trailers.
From: Ross: TN 1/18/16
Comments: The best trailer for dirty water got it in black and blue and paired it up with the 1/4 oz bitsy bug from strike king I caught my personal best weighing in at 9 lb 5 oz would highly recommend these
From: Dontrell: Minneapolis, MN 1/4/16
Comments: I've caught fish on these just reelin em over all the lily pads slowly Texas rigged. The arms just flap & smack the water. Almost like a buzz bait.
From: Steven: MI 11/21/15
Comments: I've had great success on big bass in colder water temps when I pair these with buckeye mini mop jigs and just drag it on the bottom. The best feature is that the claws stand straight up when at rest & tempt the big girls into eating.
From: Gavin: LA 9/23/15
Comments: This is my confidence jig trailer. I have tried several other brands but find my self coming back to these. They are priced great and i usually loose my jig before i have to replace a chunk. What more could you ask for?
From: Thursty: MD 3/28/15
Comments: These are amazing trailers. I rigged them to a Dirty Jig's Alabama Craw color and used the Kentucky Special chunk and the black sapphire, they hammered it. I went from zero bits using a paddle tail swim bait to 3 bits (2 jumped off :( )back to back in the same area. The paddle tails worked great in the morning but went dead around 10 am, the Paca Chunks kick started the bits again. The action on the craws is crazy at any speed. The only down fall is the claws are good fpr maybe 2 fish and then need replacing. Good thing is they are cheap so pick up more then 1 pack, you're going to need them.
From: Danny: Ladson, SC 7/19/14
Comments: Some of the best plastics EVER. I've used the Paca's for years and they are, by far, my preferred jig trailer. I currently have these paired with a few variants of the NuTech jigs and the completed presentation looks AMAZING. Can't wait to see if the bass feel the same way...
From: Kenny: Tucson, AZ 7/11/14
Comments: Perfect trailers. I throw mainly the 2 inch size on the back of a Strike King Bitsy Bug flipping jig and that doesn't mean I only catch small fish with it. The size of fish I've landed on that tiny bait amaze me. I've even caught crappy flipping with these as the trailer. The arms move in the water all by themselves and the scent seems to be prefered by the fish in my area compared to that of similar looking craw trailers.
From: Victor: St. Catharines, Ontario 6/22/14
Comments: This has got to be one of the best trailers i have ever used i have actually just texas rigged it before in lakes and ponds and the bass love em!
From: Christian: NC 5/9/14
Comments: Though I use rage chunks more often, the paca chunk is still a very good trailer that gets regular use from me. I use it when the fish want a different look from the ragers, or to switch up colors. Very good action, can't go wrong with these either.
From: Tyler: Grand Junction, CO 4/18/14
Comments: Best trailers on the market. These things stay on jigs very well. They have great action and bass love em!
From: Unknown: USA 4/17/14
Comments: The action on these bad boys are amazing. The stay on the jig very well. Only issue I was having is that the claws rip off pretty easy.
From: Billy: Fresno, CA 3/7/14
Comments: my buddy gave me a alabama craw colored chunk and i never paid much attention to it. after sitting in my truck bed for a good number of months, i ran out of trailers and threw this one on. WELL BUILT. This is stayed on my jig fish after fish. slipped down once or twice out of plenty of fish. the action is what amazed me, no matter how slow or fast, them claws keep flapping! i wont tell u what color is good because the action is what gets em TIGHT LINES
From: Chris: Forsyth, GA
Comments: These are some great trailers. The claws move like crazy when you swim these guys! The only thing I don't like is the fact that the claws are limp when not sitting on the bottom, but I guess you sacrifice claw stiffness for awesome swimming action! Definitely worth the money though
From: Chris: ME
Comments: Super duper trailer. Cool flappy action. Yeah the tails get bitten off but put on a fresh one and get back in the game!
From: Meatwad: Alantown
Comments: Best Trailers on the Market. Natural Crawl Sr help me win a few tournaments this year. Can't go wrong with a Netbait Paca Chunk.
From: A: USA
Comments: Great Price! Great Quality! No other trailer can match the same value and selection! Sr are a bit too big for MN and tear easier than the smaller ones. My recommendation is the Chunk or Tiny Sizes. Get them! You won't be disappointed!
From: X: Twin Cities, MN, USA
Comments: These are awesome. I use natural craw on a jighead and catch a very mixed bag of fish. Even catfish!
From: Zach: OH
Comments: I bought a pack of these awhile back just tried them the other day. i couldnt keep the fish off my jig the fish were killin um but i went through a pack of chunks in 12 min. the claws were tearing off on every fish due to the small piece of plastic holding the claws on, but that is what gives it the action.
From: D: NC
Comments: Good trailer but strike king rage craw chunk have better action in my opinion.
From: Bryson, WV
Comments: Claws have great action! Very durable but like other chunks sunnys will nible it right off. Different variety of colors and sizes. This is my go to chunk baits. Ordering more in a bit.
From: Al: MN
Comments: I tried these for the first time last season and they are a winner! Before these i was strictly using zoom chunks but i am definitely going to use netbait more this season. The action is great, the durability is great and the price just blows away the competition. I have caught so many bass with these as trailers that at the end of the day not only did i have bass thumb but my arm was sore from setting the hook all day on these lures. Great product i would recommend these to anyone!
Comments: If I had to chose one trailer to use it would be NET baits. I can't find another trailer with action like these have. For the price these cannot be beaten.
From: Jake: WI
Comments: Love these trailers, absolutely can not beat them! Claws have great action, these have great scent GREAT color collection and best of all, very cheap! love em, love em, love em!!!
From: Jake: Cocoa, FL
Comments: This is the absolute best trailer I have ever used. The claws have a crazy flapping action and the texture is very nice. It has good scent and a huge color selection. The only possible con is that the claws can break of after a few fish, but at $2.19 a pack, that's not a problem. Amazing craw; best there is!
From: Micah: Honeoye Falls, NY
Comments: patent hahaha waste of time, you can buy a mold just as good if not better off bass takle, plus to get around a patent you could just make the claws a little longer have or put 3 eyes on it, bass cant tell
From: Matt: St. George, Utah
Comments: Very good trailer. A buddy left a jig with one on it in my boat. During my tournament yesterday I used that jig to catch one deep and cull that fish out later swimming the same jig swimming around shallow cover. We ended up winning with almost ten pounds. Very versital trailer.
From: Jonathon: TN
Comments: great craws but i wish tw had the cinnamon purple
Comments: Great lure for trailers and if your willing to work with it you can fit an 1/0 hook on and work it very slow on spinning tackle.
From: JP: St. Peters, MO
Comments: I use them on an olive aero jig to catch rainbow and lake trout through the ice. the tiny paca chunk is a sick bait for trout.
From: Jay: Boulder, CO
Comments: Love these things. Just claws break off kind od easy. but who cares! their cheap and are arguably the best trailer
Comments: The only jig trailer I will use. Great action and good color selection.
From: Kenny: Shepherdsville, KY
Comments: best jig trailor i have ever used!!!!! i love using a summer craw chunk on a booya boo jig in green pump colr. do yourself a favor and GET SOME!!!!!
Comments: the best trailer i have ever used i flip/pitch fish it on spinerbaits and buzzbaits and fish it alone on small jigs! the only problem i find little bluegill and small bass take the claws right off but i have had tremendous luck on one clawed paca chunks
From: Nick: Canada
Comments: Great trailer, and smallmouth candy fished alone on a 3/16-1/4 oz football head or a small gopher head. Yeah the claws come off too easy but nothin rings the dinner bell for bass than a craw w/ only one claw. Easy Meal
From: Jee: New Jersey, USA
Comments:Best trailer on the market. fish a lot of used water / back of boat they have helped my catch ratio tremendously. They also do a great job as a spinnerbait or buzzbait trailer. Especially on a buzzbait with the skirt cut down to almost nothing
From:Kelly: Logan, WV
Comments:Best trailer I have ever used. The bass can't leave them alone.
From:Keith: West Plains, MO
Comments:Good chunks for river smallies on 1/4 oz football heads. Only problem with them is the smaller fish tend to pull the claws off. For the price, quantity, and quality, it's worth the money.
