Overview

A lot of engineering went into producing these hooks made especially for dropshotting. The turned up eye allows the hook and worm to come off the line at just about a 90 degree angle with the point up so any twitch of the rod will drive the ultra-sharp point home when you get bit. The shank features an offset so the bait can be presented weedless, or if you prefer, the bend of the hook has a sharp angle that will hold the worm in the right position if you nose-hook it. Taken together, these hooks will do everything for you when you dropshot, except find the fish.

Comments: Great drop shot hook for weedless presentation.

From: Jim: 9/21/23

Comments: Best drop shot hook around, paired with the right finesse plastic I've caught many including a 7 pounder and the thin wire hook held up like a champ.

Comments: Flat out the best drop shot hook on the market.   They require almost no pressure to stick the fish and you generally need a pliers to get them unstuck, and I am not referring to deeply hooked fish, these hooks hold like no other. If you straighten one on a fish, it means you are keeping your drag too tight....a common mistake, especially with braided line.   I catch thousands of bass a year....year after year, tournament after tournament, even caught many large pike and musky on them....still have yet to have a single one straighten on a fish.   Now get them stuck, and you can straighten them with brute force.   I love the fact that my competitors don't use them. The design not only allows for weedless design, but it also puts the hook point back farther than conventional drop shot hooks, so you just flat out hook more bites....and  can put them anywhere, which is great, because bass aren't always in open water on hard bottoms.   And because most fish are hooked right at the top lip, even those toothy critters are stuck in a manner where the longer shank keeps you from a breakoff....I used to be amazed that I seemed to never break off on pike and musky, now I just take that for granted. Literally the only drop shot hook I use, regardless of the situation....2/0 or 3/0 and a zoom finesse work....catch so many fish its laughable, and good fish, too....and frustrating for those around you...hehe.

Comments: Best drop shot hook hands down!  Almost 100% hook up ratio and rarely lose fish. The offset eye makes the hook stand straight out every time.  I have never bent one out on a fish but I'm fishing it on light line 6-8lb, so drag gives first. 1 or 1/0 for small worms and 1/0 or 2/0 for larger worms and creature baits.

Comments: The only time these hooks have EVER straightened on me is pulling them out of mouths, the barb stays stuck almost too well. I have used the #1 & 1/0 for 4 & 6" roboworms respectively. They have many other uses but excel in drop shot rigging.

From: Weston: Batesville, AR 2/10/16

Comments: really good drop shot hooks! i haven't lost a fish with these hooks and can hold big bass. Can drop shot brush and trees without the worry of getting hung up. I will not use open gap hooks anymore because i have lost multiple fish on those. Get this hook i promise you won't be disappointed.

From: Jarret: SC 12/8/14

Comments: Incredible dropshot hooks. Hook up ratio has to be very close to 100% for me. I rarely fish open gap hooks for dropshot anymore unless it is a wide bodied bait because this is all you need otherwise! The only time I've had issues bending out hooks is by trying to get them out of fishes mouths.

From: Justin: Huntington Beach, CA

Comments: Love them, only drop shot hook i use, VERY sharp, love to wacky rig a 6inch worm with them, sometime texas. hooks have straightend on me but i haven't lost a fish yet, best hook up ratio on any bait i have ever used great on shasta.

From: Miles: Oregon, USA

Comments:  Sharpest hook, only problem is with lake erie smallies they tend to get straightened out.
