Overview
Pro Point Lures has a well-document history of creating, developing, and manufacturing fishing lures for anglers who demand the absolute best, which is why they have created the Pro Point Lures “The Bug.” Hand-poured to achieve the highest possible quality, the Pro Point Lures “The Bug” features two long tentacles that move with an attention-grabbing flutter, whether it is crawled across the lake floor or dropped into heavy cover.
Lethal on largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass, the Pro Point Lures “The Bug” delivers an unmatched versatility that excels on a Carolina-rig (a must-try technique for this particular soft bait), Texas-rig, jig trailer, weightless, and even on drop shots. Incredibly soft, yet durable, the Pro Point Lures “The Bug” delivers everything anglers look for in a premium craw imitation.

Comments: Ya know how videos make lures look soooo action packed? Ya just know the manufacturer is trying to hook you. Well these things have all the action that the video shows. When you see it, you will probably have a ton of confidence in these things. One of the few things I've seen that can stand up to the video hype. Like the video, I use the mega strike stand up head. On the pause, the slow tip up to the defensive position is pretty cool. Pro point really did a great job coming up with something different and effective. Reasonably durable and priced. If I were me, I'd buy more. If I were you I would too. The ghost of meatwad.

Comments: Ok, I'll let you guys in on my secret bait: pinch the claws off and throw it superglued to the back of a light jig head (1/16oz ~ 1/10oz) for spotted bass. The legs make it fall super slow. If they want it on the bottom pinch off a few legs to speed up the rate of fall. Once the hook slot rips flip it over and it's good for a few more fish. This got me to the BASS national championship.

Comments: This has been my Go-To flipping bait for Largemouth. I've been fishing it all over Washington, Oregon and California with success everywhere I throw it. Smallies will eat it too! The colors and durability are top notch. I highly recommend these baits!

Comments: This bait creates movement like no other. The fluttering appendages get bass to bite more than traditional claw shaped ones. The Bug seems to be made from a strong plastic and holds up for several fish catches.
