Comments: Tried weighting a healthy 24" bass and the scale read 2.6 lbs.  When this device isn't giving me widely inaccurate weights it gives me no weight at all.  This is not a very good product.  I was wondering if I could get a refund, because this product is totally worthless.

Comments: Horrible scale the first time I used it, it was off by over 1 pound. Second time I used it, it was dead and it went in the trash.

Comments: Bought one of these 3 years ago. Never had an issue with battery. I just had to change the battery for the first time yesterday. There is an on off button, I would make sure it was off after each fish I weighed. I never checked the accuracy of it, though I dont fish tournaments. One thing I did notice is it went into Kg and I didnt notice it til last week. Does explain how a few bass caught last fall that I swore were over 5lbs came up as 2.5.

Comments: I recently found out mine says a gallon of water weighs 7.83 pounds.. I've only had it a year and who knows how long it has been off.

Comments: I've had this scale for about 5-6 years I've literally only changed the battery once. During that time I've done tournament fishing for about 3 years and never had an issue, even weighing fish with wet hands. Just two weeks ago I weighed a 9.2oz bass on this scale and at the weight-in station in came in at 9.29lbs, so I'm very impressed with how long it's lasted and the accuracy of it.

Comments: Trying to hold onto this thing with wet hands and a pissed off bass is impossible. 7-1/2 pounder jerked it out of my hand sending it into the Kissimmee River which is a good final resting place for it.

From: Ron: Florida 3/30/17

Comments: Scale accuracy is not an issue. I thought the scale sucking my batteries dry was a fluke, and was going to buy another one of these scales. Good thing I didn't because it looks like it is an issue with all of the scales. If you leave the battery in overnight they will be dead. You have to remove the batteries after every use, and you end up forgetting to put them in, and trying to put the batteries in after you have a fish in the boat, which sucks. Do not recommend.

From: Chase: San Jose, CA 11/22/16

Comments: Agreed!  Eats batteries like crazy.  A battery a day is an understatement.  It now collects dust cuz of this.  Accuracy is ok.

From: CA

Comments: Rips through batteries, and mine is more than half a pound off on the low side, I had a 9.03 at Clearlake that weighed 9.59 at the weigh in....

From: Spencer: San Diego

Comments: Bought 2 of these this year.  Both go thru a battery per day.  Figured this out during last tournament so for 2 days would have to take battery out after weighing a fish, then put it back in for the next fish.  Have seen similar reviews elsewhere now.

Comments: Bought this and it broke the first day i used it
