Comments: Bought 17lb for topwater duty on a Tatula with a crankbait rod after some frustrations with braid for that application. Line casts easy, has minimal memory and thus far hasn't nicked throwing into woody cover or cattails. The line does stretch as expected but hasn't resulted in any lost catches.

From: Phil H.: 11/4/22

Comments: Excellent mono line. Use it in rocky creeks/ rivers and not a single issue. Casts great and zero break offs.

From: Unknown: 5/9/21

Comments: Have used this for last 3 years.  Not sure why all the mono bashing.  Sure it oldschool and not quite as sexy as fluoro or braid.  But I fish just as well as my buddy, sometimes better, using braid and Fluoro leaders.  This stuff has been nothing but durable and strong. I use the 10 lb for every application and never had a break for any reason.  Sure has line memory, but stuff is so cheap cut it off and reload the reel. Good line for great price.

From: Unknown: 7/28/20

Comments: This has been my favorite mono for the last several years.  I use this primarily in 10 and 12lb on my cranking rod.  Very smooth, casts far for mono.  Has very little memory also.  Never had a bad spool.

From: Drew: Novi, MI 4/17/20

Comments: I've been using this line for years, mainly fishing 10lbs for topwater lures in deepwater or 20lbs for topwater around shallow cover. I've never had any issues with break-offs, it has good stretch, floats well, and is very forgiving. I've used this for all applications without issues. Line kinks and line springing off your reel will happen on any line (except braid) no matter how cheap or expensive it is. Either of these issues could be caused by line twist and/or the diameter test is too large for your spool. Suffix line diameters are larger (and/or weaker?) than competitors meaning 10lbs test is usually 12lbs test in other brands, so shop by diameter rather than lbs test in all brands. If youre using a spinning reel (2500 or 3000 size) I wouldn't go over 8lbs straight mono, If you need to go larger use a braid to leader to prevent line from spring off your spool.

From: Mike: Georgia 2/1/20

Comments: Not very good line at all. lots of abrasions on line from the start and a few break offs. Thank God I was fast enough to grab the line and retrieve my lures both times this happened.. Sufix makes good braid line but this stuff is just not good. Stay away!

From: Unknown: 6/22/19

Comments: I only use mono on a couple reels (topwater and as a short leader for finesse fishing) so I am a little picky on what I put on and use.  I bough the 10lb Sufix elite because it was all that was left on the shelf and I was heading out fishing that day.  Needless to say, when I use mono, all I will use or will buy since then is Sufix mono.  I was landing 3-4lb smallmouth that were hammering my topwater popper, with absolute ease.  It was on a baitcast reel on a 6'9" casting rod.  Sufix Elite just asked for more!  The knot strength held up amazing and I only had to re-tie a couple of times and I was throwing topwater for the better part of an hour.  There was little to no memory at all and I could cast alot further than previous mono lines that I have used in the past.  Well done Sufix.  you will not regret buying this mono.

From: Jeff: Canada  3/1/19

Comments: I have switched completely to Sufix after being continually disappointed with both Stren and Trilene for years. I fish with the 6 lb on a 5' UL. When hung up, I can literally pull my boat across the lake with it to the snag. Best mono I have ever used. I use it for all applications, from lake walleyes, to chasing brown trout in the streams, to ripping bass out of timber. Good stuff. All of my fishing buddies are always asking me what line I'm using.

From: Glen - Indiana 4/10/17

Comments: This stuff just plain works. I've been using the 12lb, about to buy some 17lb because I like it so much. Silky smooth, it comes off with little to no memory. It's nice how the line is wrapped onto the spool from the factory. It's almost too perfect. I've caught some nice fish on top water with this line. No complaints. I would recommend it to anyone.

From: Alex: LaGrange, GA 3/20/17

Comments: Worst experience with line I ever had.  Tangled immediately as I put it on the reel.  By my second use I had stripped away so much coiled line that I was down to my backing.  I bought the 4 lb test and maybe it is not for ultra light spinning reels.  It coiled worse than a slinky.

From: Bob 3/5/17

Comments: its a good line very tough but the only down fall is it has horrible memory other than that its a great line i use the 12# test on my spinner

From: Nicholas: Onario, CA 1/11/16

Comments: Decent line, but kinda isn't any one thing. It isn't as manageable enough to be consider limp line, isn't tough enough to be a tough line. It nicks easy, sometimes barrels off the reel. Even though it has more stretch, I'm gonna stick with Trilene XL for mono.

From: James: Dallas, TX 3/27/15

Comments: love this line. Best mono on the market. I've used 17 pound test in other brands for fishing docks and any time a fish wraps up on a post it breaks but this year I've had 6 fish wrap around posts and not one fish got away. It's tough and durable and you can easily rely on suffix

From: Wilsconsin Angling Outdoors: WI 10/14/14

Comments: It's got pretty low memory and decent abrasion resistance/strength.

From: Tyler: Grand Junction, CO 9/22/14

Comments: my favorite mono. No line memory, and it's super soft. Packaging is superb, and for 8 bucks it's great. Stock up people!

From: Chris: ME 9/18/14

Comments: Worst line ever when fishing around rock lost three jigs in 10 minutes I just bought the line the day before

From: Josh: Charleston, WV

Comments: Been using this line for years now and by far my most favorite mono. P line is good too, but this has pretty much zero memory and P line has a tendency to curl. Its really strong and i Very rarely break off. Caught some toads on this stuff in trees in 30ft of water and pulled them out fine. 14lb for Texas rig 20lb for jig. Highly recommend.

From: Will: The Shoals, Al.

Comments: Sufix works well for me.  It is thicker diameter for stated lb. test than most.  But I also find the break strength higher than rated.  Is it bettr than Stren or TrileneXL.  Not sure.

From: Jay: Glen Burnie, MD

Comments: Some pros of this line: it does cast really well and has very little memory compared to stiffer lines such as Maxima.  However, the line fails horribly - the worst I've ever had - when fishing rock - it has very poor abrasion resistance and will cost you fish...and that with brand-new line.

From: Ron: CA Delta

Comments: This stuff is great. Best mono I've ever used. Affordable too.

From: JDubs: NV

Comments: I was a P Line user for years and still think highly of it.  Tried some Elite on the advice of a friend and was blown away.  The Elite casts better, has practically no memory and is just as strong.  Now buy it in 3000 yd service spools from TW and use it exclusively

From: Don: TX

Comments: best mono line super strong its even better then some cheap fluro

From: Sue: Fresno. CA

Comments: I started using suffix elete just after it came out and since I started using it, I will never use another brand of mono. It is very soft and works great on spinning tackle and baitcasters as well.  It is super strong and almost no memory.  I HIGHLY recommend this line to everyone who enjoys fishing.

From: D: Trumann, AR

Comments: Man suffix elite is my favorite line, hands down. I started using it while in NV trout fishing. I've used the 10/12lb test and now I have the 8lb Im going to use on my drop-shoot rig.

From: Jay: Meridian, MS

Comments: I think that this is the best Mono I have ever used. I use 14 and 17 pound test for spinnerbait fishing and I have nothing but good things to say about it. Limpness definitely adds distance to casts and makes it much more manage than stiffer lines. Pretty much zero memory. If you are going to use Mono get Sufix.

From: Dean: British Columbia, Canada

Comments: i have this line in 12# on two of my spinning rods. it performs great. also, this line is amazing tough for such a limp line. i would recommend it to anyone.

From: bassNredfish: Louisiana

Comments: 99.9% no line memory and it is the most versatile line ever i have it on all my rods and reels i use 14lb for topwater and shallow cranking and 12 for deep cranking and 6 and 8 for drop shotting and shakey heads.
