Made with an exclusive triangular-wedge tip specifically designed to accommodate split rings, the pliers are constructed from high quality surgical-grade stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance and a dependable long life. Comments: Texas Tackle Executive 4". I needed a small split ring pliers to change out hooks on my mini crankbaits and these are the best I've used. These make opening the small split rings super easy and fast. To my surprise they work equally as well on all of my regular bass size lures as well.

Comments: selected this model based on the size on the description which was 5". I received the package and they size says "Small." They were so small I knew they weren't 5" so I measured them. they are 4.25". I'm sure they will be fine, but if you have large hands I would buy the large version.

Comments: I have an older set of the all stainless version. They are small, but small works good when changing the split rings for me. I have had mine for 4 or 5 years, and they look just like I bought them yesterday. They work better than any split ring plier I have owned.

Comments: If anyone is ever unhappy with the split ring pliers that I manufacture, I would like to know about it and figure out the reason..I am very obsessive about quality control to make sure each one works correctly, but it's very possible to occasionally miss a defective one...check out the video on my web site first and if there's still a problem, give me a call, thanks...TexasTackle.com ..also, some have been critical about where they're made..they are surgical stainless steel, precision, hand made by the same people that make dental instruments for nearly every dentist and dental lab on the planet, probably your dentist as well.

Comments: I tried 3 different pliers and found these to be best for changing rings on big swimbaits with big hooks. They are small which makes it easier when handling a large baits and hooks, imo. Quality stainless steel construction built to last. Worth the investment.

Comments: These are some great split ring pliers. I use a remove a lot of split rings from my baits because I use the owner snaps, and do a lot of adjusting to my jerkbaits using split rings as weights. These are super and the nose is very small and fits into almost any ring. I tried a few other pairs and they all sit on the shelf now. My only worry is losing them. Grab a pair and i know you will be happy. A quality tool
