Comments: These are great little jigs. I fish on med lite set up with 8 lb suffix braid to 8 lb Seaguard flouro leader. I fish 3/16 oz Candy Craw with a Bama Bug TRD Bugz trailer. Catch tons of bass. Got my lake personal best yesterday 6lb largemouth. Fished this set up all day until I hung it up.

From: Ed: Massapequa NY 5/13/23

Comments: Ned Rigs are my go to. Something about the simplistic nature of fooling a fish with basically nothing but weight, movement, and a flash of color. These little guys are the best of Jigs and Ned's. Good on their own if you want a light throw, and absolutely lethal paired with a TRD or similar Zman plastics. I realized I had three different colors tied before a long day of fishing, and you know what? They hit every color.

From: Chris: Knoxville TN 5/8/23

Comments: Put a TRD on one of these and watch out, I caught a 7lb. large mouth this Spring on one using a ML spinning rod and 6lb. test fluorocarbon, I was scared to death I wouldn't get it in. I've caught others on it as well, I really like these, they are small but mighty!

From: Dave: Clayton, CA 12/2/22

Comments: Ordered a bunch of these when they hit the market years ago. They got bit pretty well but the weed guard on the early jigs were incredibly stiff. It made it hard especially for smaller fish to close there mouth on it. If I didn't pull the wires out I would miss 1 of 3 fish. I had lost my 1 of the 2 blacks and blue jigs I had left so I had to go a new pack. The newer jigs have a much more forgiving guard on them. Snag wise the older guards were more effective but losing that many fish was unacceptable.

From: Troy M: Springfield 9/8/20

Comments: These things are fantastic.  Best micro finesse jig on the market.  Use a TRD Bugz as the trailer and get ready to catch serious numbers.

From: Coach Van: Owasso, OK 7/31/20

Comments: Great finesse jig, seems to attract a little better average size than regular Ned rig. I've had no problems with the hooks fishing 6lb line and 8lb. Caught up to 6lbers on them. I always end out the weed guard in a V shape to get better hooksets. I just do a nice little sweep set lightly and keep pressure on fish. The thin wire hooks are meant for finesse and light line easy hooksets, not for the typical bass hooksets yank the fish outa the water skip to the boat type. These are always on the boat with me and can turn a slow day into a lot of fun. Some days I stopped counting at 50.

Comments: I use these in the winter most of the time. I pair them up with a TRD almost all the time but the TRD hogz (I think they're called) work good too. The only thing I don't like is the weed guard. They are 2 fairly thick and stiff wires that aren't easy to depress and I'm positive they have cost me fish. I pull at least one of them out with pliers.

From: Rusty S: New Jersey 1/18/20

Comments: Great little Jig! The Jig over time has come with two types of weed guards. One way to weak and just gets in the way! and one that is more stout and works good. My best day is 82 bass in a day with a two pound avg. This bait catches bigger bass than just the standard Ned rig. I fish the "TRD" most of the time but some times I fish the Robo ned worms. I got 72 bass last Thursday with this bait. #1 Best bait for numbers and size!!!!

From: Roger: Oregon 8/13/19

Comments: Great little jig for tough conditions.  I've caught bass up to 6 lbs. using this jig and a paca chunk trailer with 6 lb. flouro line and the hook held up fine.  I've tried lots of finesse jigs and keep coming back to these.  Loosen up that drag--these are meant to be used with a light BFS or spinning setup.

From: Jacob: Atlanta, GA 2/19/19

Comments: These get bit when nothing else will! I use a Hula stick trailer. Throw this on 8lb floro pretty much all year but it really shines in the winter. I pull the weed guard off. As has been stated by a few others. Zman needs to use a much better hook and the current hook. Is the weak link in an other wise fantastic finesse jig!

From: Unknown 1/16/19

Comments: Great "micro jig" technique gaining popularity . Use with a Z-Man finesse TRD or a Netbaits Baby Paca Chunk ... For those that have issues with the two wire weed guards here is a tip to using properly : First , gently bend the weed guards 45 degrees from each other . Next, slowly bend the weed guards down until they are just above the hook point - you will stay more weedless AND stick more bass !

From: Luther - Georgia 8/13/18

Comments: Big fan of these. Still a number's bait in the grand scheme of things, but in my experience seem to attract a better quality of fish than the typical ned rig with just a trd. PB&J is my go-to color. I'm also not a fan of the weed guard as it seems to just get in the way and doesn't add much. I haven't noticed it affecting my ability to get bites or keep them hooked, but I prefer to just go without them.

From: Tyler - Michigan 7/7/18

Comments: These get bit.  The original version used too heavy a wire for the weed guard and even with the two wires split in a V, it was difficult to get a good hookup with lighter tackle.  They are shipping now with the light wire weed guard from the regular Shroom head and the hookup ratio has been pretty good for me even using a medium-moderate spinning rod with 8# line.

From: Rich: Las Vegas, NV 6/25/18

Comments: i will buy more. It needs a stronger hook here in FL they just just straighten that little thing out

From: Stacey - Lake Wales 6/15/18

Comments: These are great little jigs.  I use them most often when on a Ned Rig bite and looking for bigger bites.  They also skip easily on a spinning rod when paired with an appropriate trailer.  Try anything you'd fish on a Ned rig. For those complaining about the weed guard: it's actually a DOUBLE weedguard.  Spread it into a "V" shape and go back to enjoying these awesome little jigs.

From: Andrew: MN 1/23/18

Comments: great little jig. works well for cold water conditions and lethargic bass. I dont like the weed guard. I still get great hook ups and it comes thru snags well but when using braid it tangles much easier than traditional weed guard. also hook is pretty weak. got a good hook set and then he was off. reeled her in and my hook was almost straight.

From: Unknown 11/3/17

Comments: Why couldn't the weed guards be like the regular ned rig hooks ? Only thing I didn't like feel like I won't fish confidently with them might just cut them off

From: Dusk: Sa tx 9/2/17

Comments: Weed guards are a bit stiff, but not an issue.  Just gotta work them.  Didn't find an issue with hookups.  Paired with a paca chunk and these things ARE FIIIIIIIRE!!!!!  Soon as it hit the water and I saw it, I knew it was gonna be a good day.... Well I kept catching a new PB for this small creek one after another.... And to top it off, I was catching fish in a spot where I'd previously never had ANY LUCK.   Went out and picked up more Paca chunks and Finesse jigs on the way home.

From: Drew: Chicago 8/19/17

Comments: Weed guard had no give and would not hook the fish.  Cut that off and bit a zoom speed craw in half....and became one of my favorite.  Jig fishing on a spinning setup is a ton of fun.

From: Mark: Virginia 3/30/17

Comments: These small jigs are the ticket in pressured lakes and great in the winter time. The weed guard has to go. Waaay to stiff. I just pull them off. Set up with the Z man craw or the TRD and hang on.

From: Bob: Cedar city, utah 3/22/17

Comments: Good finesse jig. The weed guards are too stiff so hook up ratio might not be too good. I just clipped my off.

From: Unknown, CA 2/24/17

Comments:  My favorite finesse jig. Works great with the zman trd tube. Catches bass of all sizes!
