Manifold Detail Works

MANIFOLD Detail Works was established in 1999 as a leather accessories company in Nagoya, Japan by the owner who has over 30 years of experience in the leather industry. Bass fishing is a hobby for the owner so he decided to expand his business ventures in the Japanese fishing industry in 2011. From there emerged the birth of MANIFOLD Swimbaits. MANIFOLD first developed the DENIIRO and the PATIINO glide baits for targeting monster-sized bass at the largest lake in Japan, Lake Biwa, trying to chase the next world record Largemouth Bass. The unique lures have been tested by Manabu Kurita (22lb 4oz world record holder) and a fellow big bass chaser, Yugo Yamada over and over to land more world-class bass. In addtion to their leather products, another idea of MANIFOLD was that they wanted to make a lure to combine attributes of a lipless crankbait and a glide bait. By trial and error, they finally perfected the unique patented lure called the CASTELLNON. As time has gone on, MANIFOLD's leather lures are now commonly known by trophy bass anglers around the world.
