Comments: Don't use. Has killed multiple fish during tournaments for me. Clip is too big for fish to close their mouths to breathe.

From: Brian W: Suffield 9/13/23

Comments: Terrible design!!! I used these during the Bassmaster open on Oneida for smallmouth. day one I had 3 of my smaller fish with cull tags in. within an hour they were all upside so I removed the cull tags and they survived the rest of the day. On day 2 I put cull tags on 2 smaller fish and checked within the hour and I lost them both. The cull tags are just way to big for a fishes mouth

From: Tyler: Pennsylvania 7/18/22

Comments:Kind of frustrated with this product. I personally feel this did kill a fish I weighed in at a tournament I fished. I also tried to balance a fish with it and it shook off while doing it and thank goodness it fell in my boat. I will just leave it that. Not very good!

From: Rick: NV 10/15/20

Comments:Very hard to open with big fingers, gloves, cold hands, in a hurry etc etc. etc. Struggled through for a few tournaments til i had fish struggling with the clip in their mouth. Seemed to affect the bigger fish most. Would rather use puncture tags or none at all.

From: Paul: Laurel 3/15/20

Comments:I would not suggest these to anyone. I've had bad luck with the number floats on top wanting to keep the fish on top in the livewell. When it comes to using them on small mouth I've had really bad luck with fish rolling upside down and stessing out. Even had several die. Even had several largemouth stress out and belly up from it.I'm switching to a different system.

Comments:These work great! pretty easy to open and I used them in a few tournaments so far and no dead fish.. I was checking them often because other reviews complained of dead fish... all my 1lbers and 4lbers were in the boat from the first hour of the tournament and just fine for weigh in.

From: adam:CA11/23/18

Comments:I had the original version and had problems with fish stressing out. I got the 2.0 clips and have not had a problem since. They stay on the fish and make culling really easy

From: Justin:Culver Oregon10/17/18

Comments:By far the best I have ever used. No dead fish, no clips coming off, and with multiple tournaments requiring non puncturing cull clips these are great

From: Tom - Rochester, NY 10/15/18

Comments:Bought these back in March. No dead fish from using these clips. I have used these in weekly tournaments since in two different boats, at least 20 tournaments. Big fish to barely keepers, both largemouth and smallies. Water temps have varied from cool spring to blazing hot summer temps in south Texas and have not lost a single fish. I use G Juice and the Oxygenator and the fish come out kicking. In fact we usually get comments on how lively the fish are. The clips do hang on very well but with a vigorous fish they could come off if you pick the fish up by it. I recommend using the tag to get the fish and control it while you get a better hold on the lip or body.

Comments:Received the Clip-N-Cull tags for my birthday.Used them in a team tournament for the first time and had 4 dead fish do the fish inverting in our livewell. The water temp was not too high, so I know this system is not good.Another angler experienced the same result as me.He discarded the Clip-N-Culls for another system that he has no issues with, thus far.Don't waste money on this product.

Comments:Amazing product! The guys at Cal Coast have blown their competition out of the water with this one!I owned the Version 1.0 and have recently upgraded to the 2.0 after seeing some fish struggle with the size of the V1.0 in their months. So happy to see Cal Coast turn around a new design in only a year's time and get it right! These culling clips are designed to last ten years (or more)!

From: Kevin:Madison, WI8/7/18

Comments:I used the Cal Coast Fishing Clip N Cull original version and now I'm using the 2.0. They are both great but there are definite improvements with the 2.0. The clips on the 2.0 are smaller and the lanyards are longer. Both are great upgrades. I haven't had any issues with them and I fish a lot of live weigh in tournaments every year. I highly recommend these non puncture cull tags!

From: Jason:Colorado8/3/18

Comments:2.0 version got everything right, no issues with small fish or cutting fish up. Best cull system I've used.

From: Charles:Kentucky 8/2/18

Comments:This culling System is the best I have used. I have seenA difference in how the fish behave in my life wellwhen compared to other brands. The fish seem to be much more relaxed like they don'teven know it's there. You don't have to worry about rust or metal scratching up your livewell.

From: Tyler:Clever, MO 8/2/18

Comments:Wow. This is hands down the best puncture free culling on the market. A while back I fished the Bass Nation Western Regionals. BASS requires puncture free cull tags in there tournaments. I fished with anglers from other states who used other "clip" like tags. They had issues with fish going belly up, tags coming off, one of the guys took the tags off out of frustration. Don't be frustrated, get a set of these and you will not be disappointed. Check out the videos on there website or YouTube. These are legit!

From: Shaun:Valley Springs CA8/1/18

Comments:I'm a huge fan of the new style Clip N Cull. The smaller clips are a lot lighter and the smaller fish seem to act a lot more comfortable with them on. The fish will not come off these clips, you can grab it right by the ball and lift, and the fish will not come undone. Very happy with this purchase. Pair them with the Money Beam and you are ready to cull.

From: S8/1/18

Comments:This culling system is by far the best out there! The clips are fast and easy to use, they are also very durable. I have used this system on largemouth and smallmouth without having any issues of the clips coming off. The floats are great because it's easy to read the numbers which makes culling a lot faster. You will NOT be disappointed in this product!

From: Kevin C:Scott Depot, WV8/1/18

Comments:Best non-puncture culling system on the market! Clip it on the bottom lip (not on the tongue) and it's there! Have been using clip n cull since they hit the market and had no issues with the first version this version is even more streamlined!!

From: Ty Kendall:Kokomo, IN6/8/18

Comments:My tournament partner had just purchased these from TW about a month ago.Fished our first club tx of the season this past weekend. We caught 4 fish within the first hour of the tournament and placed a clip-N-cull in the mouth just as it shows. We went another 3 hours without any luck before catching our 5th keeper, which turned out to be a 4.5 lb.When we put it in the livewell, all 4 of the fish were on their sides and 2 were dead. I took the clip-N-culls outta of the other two and tried to revive them back to life, adding more GJuice to the livewell, which we had done previously in the AM.The livewells had been on auto recirculate all morning and we had added water to them twice.Water temps ranged from 58-62 so we aren't talking high water temps already. And we are talking about a 2016 Skeeter FX livewell system, so its very adequate at keeping bass alive.Anyway, we caught 5 more keepers the rest of the day, didn't put any cull clips in them and never had another issuewith the fish.Only one out of our original 4 keepers survived. At weigh-in, one of the other teams had experienced the same issues with their Clip-N-Cull tags. They weighed in 2 dead fish from the tags, as we had 3 dead fish.I would rather go back to the original tags where they poke a hole in the fishes mouth if they live compared to these clips. These things are huge in a fishes mouth.Warning: Clip-N-Cull 2.0 System needs to change things because if only two guys in our club used them and killed 5 fish in one day, i hate to see what has happened in a large tournament with guys using these!
