Overview

Pre-rigged and ready to raid bass beds in your favorite lakes, the 10,000 Fish Head Hunter is an incredibly detailed baitfish imitator that predators won’t be able to resist attacking. An excellent tool for bedfishing season, the Head Hunter rests nose down on the bottom to better mimic feeding bluegill or shad and infuriate bass into lashing out at your swimbait. The realistic body not only provides tasty good looks, but the dorsal fin also serves to conceal the integrated top hook from suspicious fish and snaggy vegetation alike. The hook itself is concealed securely under the fin by a magnetic hook harness system which provides a freer range of motion when setting the hook while simultaneously giving the fish less leverage to throw your bait.

In addition to the superb performance features, the 10,000 Fish Head Hunter also delivers unbelievably detailed good looks and hard-hitting action to the end of your line. The baits come ready to jump out of the package and into the water with meticulously detailed paint schemes that expertly match a variety of popular snack-sized baitfish. Protruding from the impressively painted body are lifelike 3D molded gills, eyes, fins, and a heavy-thumping boot tail that fish can feel in their lateral lines as the Head Hunter flees through the water column. Weighing-in light enough to not necessitate a dedicated swimbait set up and versatile enough to be fished on beds, around cover, or skipped under docks thanks to its flat sides, the 10,000 Fish Head Hunter is an adaptable swimbait with tremendous action and unparalleled good looks.

-Swinging hook is hidden under the top fin
-Patent-pending magnetic hook harness system keeps hook hidden
-Weighted to implement a nose-down presentation on the bottom
-Lifelike paddling tail and flanged belly fin
-Flat sides to allow for easier skipping
-Baitfish imitating paint schemes

Comments: I had this bait for about 6 months before I fished it. The first cast 17 inch smallie then 5 casts later an 18 inch smallie!!. They both stayed pinned, swimming action is ok. I instantly tied on Megabass sleeper gill 3 more bites decent fish all came unpinned probably on me?? I love Megabass products and feel they are the best baits made but on this bait, I dont see much difference....I ordered 2 more of the Head Hunter for color options.

From: Frank: tomah wisconsin 11/11/22

Comments: This bait did not swim correctly. I would give it a 2 out of 10. Color is horrible also. I will never get another... off to GoodWill it goes.

From: Jason: Oshkosh, WI 7/30/22

Comments: I caught around 40 bass on this swimbait until the tail was finally eaten off. Durability is better than the Megabass Sleeper Gill but the swimming action is simply not as good, nor consistent. The hook rotation and magnet system work alright, it has a lot of side to side play which makes it feel cheap. But the concept of the rotating hook definitely helps keep the fish from throwing the bait. Overall I would give this bait a 7.6/10. If you want to try one out, get the license to Gill color.

From: Unknown: San Jose, CA 7/27/22

Comments: The bait is good but it is not very weed less. If you are fishing a place with a lot of weeds I would not recommend it for the price

From: Unknown: 7/24/22

Comments: Doesn't swim correctly at all. Will not even catch 1 fish alone "10,000 fish". The fins look like they came off a dragon or dinosaur. Very strange looking swimbait. If I was a fish I would swim like hell to get away! Looks like a piranha fish.

From: Jason: Michigan 9/25/21

Comments: This bait swims bad and the bass ignore it.

From: Chuck: West Milford, NJ 7/21/21

Comments: I bought this bait when it was just on a different site.. I was excited and ordered two of them. Neither one swims good, hard to believe that I got two duds... Might be decent for bed fishing or dead sticking though..

From: Decklan: Franklin, PA 7/6/21

Comments: After catching multiple 5 lb+ fish on this bait I can tell you it is not a cheap Megabass knockoff. Every soft plastic swimbait gets chewed up after time, but the hook mechanism and magnet have stayed rock solid and I expect them to last the life of the bait. Have had no issue with hooksets, and the hook penetration location is similar to that of a Texas rig, right though the upper lip. It's one of the better bed fishing baits I've yet found because it's weedless but presents what bass hate most on their bed; bluegill. I can pull it through lilypads where the beds are and drag it through and right across the bed. I've also drawn strikes just swimming it. The smaller size version requires a faster retrieve to get the paddle tail moving but I didn't find issue with it because I primarily used it for beds. Also, these things cast a mile.

Comments: It does not swim good and it gets totally ignored.

From: Chuck: 6/17/21

Comments: A bad Megabass dark sleeper knock off, I guess the quality of materials is good but the plastic isnt soft enough to allow the hook to make a solid hookset, especially for the smallest size, the paddle tail is also lacking action, Just buy megabass.
