Works greatI just took my 13 heavy swimbait rod out for a test run yesterday. As far as I can tell it's a fine rod. Great balance, light, perfect tip with plenty of backbone. I threw around a 3oz swimbait with no problem. That said, I wouldn't throw any bait over 4oz, maybe 5oz but that's it! I paired the rod with an Okuma Citrix 364 ( probably the best swimbait reel for the price on the market ). All in all, I'm super happy with my purchase and at this price, really can't be beat!

Big RodBought this rod to throw big glide baits and it’s awesome. Handles up to a 10oz bait. Paired with a good reel and has a great feel and plenty of back bone.

Comments: I purchased this rod to throw large swim baits and glide baits. The rod handles large glide baits well and the handle is very comfortable. The reel seat is strong and holds the reel securely. The guides handle braid well. Great value at this price

Comments: I've been throwing some big baits on flipping sticks and wanted to try a swimbait specific rod. The price point was good for me and I wasn't disappointed, good quality, handles the big bait with zero problem.  T he handle it long so it tucks up under arm for good leverage . All in all it is a great rod for a first time swimbait thrower or an advanced fisherman .

Comments: I have the 8' X Heavy paired with a Daiwa 300 Lexa. The rod is super powerful and great to handle. I throw Swimbaits all day and I like the overall power! Great rod!

Comments: Awesome rod this is my third one I have a medium heavy and too heavy great rod for swimbaits and glide baits good bang for the buck

Comments: Sensitive and light weight for an 8' hvy. Performed well. Liked the front grip. Looking forward to throwing glides on it next apring.

Comments: Rod is solid, haven't caught a lot of fish with it yet but plenty stiff and fast tip is nice as well. For the price it's hard to beat.

From: James: Benbrook, Texas 12/26/21

Comments: I'm a very avid bass fisherman. And decided to get into large swim baits. This 8 foot heavy action rod was exactly what I need. Not too expensive not too cheap. The handle and the reel clamp feels a bit cheap but can't complain for 120 ish dollars. I already accidentally clipped the rod trying to put it in my vehicle, and it didn't break so very strong. 7/10

From: Fletcher: Unknown 11/20/21

Comments: I mean what can I say. I have the concept z reel by 13 fishing and that was amazing so I trusted in their new swimbait rod and man did they follow through on their word. The rod has an amazing aesthetic look to it loads up well and it's very durable keeps The trebles peg perfectly thanks guys.

Comments: Dope rods as far as performance, just needs full grip handles... Please

From: Unknown: 8/30/21

Comments: Haven't put much time into this rod yet but I can say it's the largest stiffest rod I've ever used. Little awkward in a kayak but still tosses my large swim baits just fine which was exactly what I wanted it for. I'd probably use it as a frog rod too but hard to cut the swim/glide baits off sooo..

From: Brian: New Jersey 8/29/21

Comments: So this is the second one of these rods I've owned. The first one was the last version in a 8' heavy and I loved it! It happened to get broken (along with my curado swimbait rod) in a freak accident on my boat. This time I went with the 8' extra heavy and I'm even more impressed. It my dedicated big soft plastic swim bait rod paired with a Shimano Calcutta 250. For the price it's the best rod out there. Only thing I'd say is the they seem to run on the stiff side but not necessarily in a bad way and I miss the cork handle. Wouldn't say itâs the best for trouble hooked beats but I definitely caught a bunch on a sneaky Pete or the old 8' heavy.

Comments: I'm so happy that I purchased this Rod got a killer backbone on it

From: Paul: Cincinnati, OH 6/27/21

Comments: I bought the extra heavy several years ago and its still doing fine. If you're looking for a broom stick rod, that can handle BIG baits, this is it.

From: Rusty, Illinois

Comments: I, personally, have been using this rod for big 10" Savage Gear trouts as a budget combo. It has held up well to massive bass and even got me a 32" snook. Worked her well too
