Comments: Absolutely beautiful rod! I have not used it yet so this review is based purely on first impressions. After putting on a reel it is extremely balanced for a 7'6. Love the guides. I wasn't sure how I'd like the reel seat, but it's super clean and very comfortable. Build quality is above average. I'll be using it solely for throwing hair on smallies up North and it feels like it will set up perfectly for the task. At this price, you can't go wrong. I may even tap into this line for some other techniques.

Comments: Am a bit disappointed with this design. Reel lock at the bottom, being that I hold my rod with my left hand, when I hookset, it loosens the lock. After re-tightening it a few times, I noticed that it started crushing the cork making it unlikely that I will continue using this for any fish that requires anything more than a bobber. This rod was intended for white bass here in Minnesota which average about 2-3lbs when you get into a school of them.
