Overview
Delivering an aggressive, shallow-diving action, the 13 Fishing Scamp Squarebill 2.5 Crankbait offers tough as nails performance that excels around cover. The largest of the Scamp Squarebills, it offers a larger profile that is hard to miss as it comes deflecting and vibrating its through cover. The 13 Fishing Scamp Squarebill 2.5 Crankbait features an Airfoil carbon bill that is thinner, stronger, and has less flex than standard bills, generating more attraction and deflections than other cranks in its class. The 13 Fishing Scamp Squarebill 2.5 Crankbait also features a line tie embedded in the carbon bill, transmitting vibration directly to the angler for increased sensitivity.
Designed with a high volume body, the 13 Fishing Scamp Squarebill 2.5 Crankbait provides floating characteristics similar to balsa baits, while maintaining the durability of ABS, so it is able to maneuver through timber, rocks, and other obstructions with increased efficiency. Designed with a tapered tail and dressed with Mustad Triple Grip treble hooks, the 13 Fishing Scamp Squarebill 2.5 Crankbait offers an outstanding hookup ratio. Fitted with holographic eyes and available in a number of highly detailed colors, the 13 Fishing Scamp Squarebill 2.5 Crankbaits deliver a durable construction that is able efficiently navigate sticky cover in search of big bass.

Comments: Really nice crank bait I love it but the bill keeps braking and I don't even fish where there is rocks I've had two in the last week brake.

Comments: I have been fishing the Scamp in the 2.5 size for about a year and a half and I have to say that I have taken all my other squarebills and put them in storage. As always with 13 Fishing hard baits the hooks are insanely sharp and pin bass when they munch the Scamp. The hunting action that this squarebill displays is insane, makes bass turn on a dime and head toward the Scamp. I highly recommend the Scamp.

Comments: The finish on these things are unreal. I've got the Old Gregg (love the name) and Natty Light (seriously, someone at 13 call me, I wanna party and name things with you guys). Love the KVD triple grips as well, don't have to change the hooks on a square Bill, already got the best, finally!!

Comments: This is the best crankbait I have ever fished with, you can cast it a mile and it just straight up catches fish. If you cast it over weeds then you have yourself a couple 2 1/2 pounders. Don't hesitate to buy one. Especially if you match the hatch with your baitfish!!!

Comments: Cheap body and paint, hooks, bill, do not buy. Junk compared to other known brands of squarebills.

Comments: Bought it for my son for his first tackle box (in the Fire Tiger color). I thought it looked cheap at first and the air-foil lip seems very thin. But one thing that I do like about it is the sound. It's not high-pitch but a low hard knock, which could prove to be very effective on the water. I took off the nice hooks and it's now a great souvenir. My son will have to wait until later when he is older to use it. My son is 1 years old.

Comments: Picked up 4 of these because of the nice paint jobs. Performance wise I don't see much of a difference than your traditional squarebill. I didn't really see a bait that performed similar to balsa and I really didn't feel a significant difference in feeling because of the placing of the line tie. They are nice looking baits and have quality components the knocking sound is something different and probably the only thing that sets them apart peromance wise against your traditional 6,7, dollar squarebill. I'm sure they will do some damage come this fall and next spring.

Comments: good crank, used the Golden retriever and first day out with it the entire bill chipped off while grindin down a rock bank. it looked great, but the lip shouldnt break from bumping off some rocks.

Comments: Picked up Rusty Bream & Day Old Guac. Have to say, beyond impressed with the paint job. Have only thrown Day Old Guac due to cold / dirty spring water and I've had great success. Fished 2 days, grinding down rock banks and the bill holds up significantly better than traditional 'plastic bills'. Ordering a few more colors for when the water cleans up.
