Overview
The brainchild of Casey Sobczack, the 6th Sense Axis Crankbait has been in the making for 3 years and it is ready to make its way into the arsenal of bass anglers around the world. This lure bridges the gap between a vibrating jig and a squarebill crankbait. No baitfish swims in a straight line, neither should your crankbait.
The 6th Sense Axis was engineered to have an action like no other lure; an Erratic Hunting Action (EHA). Diving 2-5ft, the Axis’ Patent Pending pivoting lip allows it to track true while randomly hunting side-to-side like a real baitfish would. The end result is an action, sound, and vibration like no lure before it. Plus, it comes stock with premium, top-of-the-line hooks and lifelike paint schemes to ensure you get the best right out of the package.

Comments: Love it! It has great acting and gets bit all the time.

Comments: First time using it the bill separated from the body. Within the first 20 cast it bounced off a rock and I reeled in nothing but the bill. The body of the Axis was floating in the water. Interesting design but durability isn't there.

Comments: This is a great bait. It's very similar to the 13 Fishing Jabber Jaw. The body has a slightly different shape, and the swimming action is a bit different from the Jabber Jaw. It's good to have both of these lures in your arsenal because you never know what the fish want on any given day. These lures produce, and I've caught pickerel, walleye, and bass on these. If you haven't tried these yet, you should. Some say they are are hybrid cross of a crankbait and a chatter bait because the metal bill moves and creates some noise. They are shallow divers, so on a bright day, the metal bill also flashes like a spoon. It's like three lures in one - how could you go wrong?

Comments: So far I'm impressed with these baits. I'm fortunate to live within 30 minutes of Lake Fork in Texas. Lots of standing timber and these do a great job deflecting off stumps and getting bit. They have a little different action than your normal square bill.

Comments: I ordered these Axis cranks along with the 13 Jabber Jaws in an assortment of colors. I use them for speed cranking. They both have very different sounds and actions and they both produce. The Axis shines in warmer waters. Late spring and summertime. Has a very wide hunting action and a distinct lazy chatter noise. I burn them on a MH Composite Cranking rod and a HG reel. 7.3:1 is my preference. Burning and pausing along the way. They almost always get hammered as soon as you pause the reel. So far, very happy with the quality and performance of these lures.

Comments: 50 percent of the time you cast the line catches the hook because it spins in the air. If you can get it to cast through the air right it works well with great action. However it spins so much you only get 50 percent of your cast that you can fish the other 50 you are reeling back in and untangling. I feel it weighted a little off. But other than that great bait.

Comments: I've thrown both axis and jabbering throughout year and have had success on both but they don't seem to be big fish catchers. I've yet to catch a fish over 2 pounds, but I will say they always produce. So if your looking to just catch fish they're great but not a tournament winning lure in my opinion.
