The culmination of these high-end polymer resins, plus premium 30-ton Mitsubishi Japanese carbon gives the 6th Sense Sensory Series Casting Rods a lightweight, yet super-tough construction, backed by outstanding sensitivity.
Fitted with premium components end to end, the 6th Sense Sensory Series Casting Rods feature Fuji Alconite inserts embedded in tangle-free stainless-steel frames that help elevate sensitivity, while minimizing line friction and memory coil in your line after being under tension. The two-piece, Fuji reel seat accompanied with a custom 6th Sense hood further increases sensitivity, by creating seamless connection between your hand and the exposed rod blank. Complete with a diamond-shaped hook keeper and a customized, full-grip EVA handle, the 6th Sense Sensory Series Casting Rods deliver exceptional sensitivity, allowing anglers to detect nuanced changes in bottom composition and tepid bites that might normally go unnoticed.

Comments: DO NOT BUY!!! I purchased the 7'7 heavy ESP sensory rod. The first trip out, it broke while setting the hook on a fish (would have only been the second one caught on this rod). I was only using a 5/8ths once jig. I thought maybe it was just a rod that came from a bad batch.. tacklewarehouse did not give me any issues returning it and send a new one to me. Well, the new one lasted a couple weeks. Yesterday, the EXACT same thing happened, set the hook on a largemouth, and the darn thing snapped like a twig. This rod is sensitive and light, but if it can't handle setting the hook on a largemouth it's useless. My $40 abu Garcia Vengeance heavy rod is less sensitive for sure, but much stronger without doubt. I boat flipped my PB - 5 pounds 11 ounces - without any issue. This 6th sense rod snapped setting the hook on a one pounder. I did manage to get this fish to the boat after it snapped. Didn't weight or measure the fish, but it was around 1 to 1&1/2 lbs and probably 13 inches. Have a picture of it dangling from my snapped $250 rod.

Comments: Bought for frogging and 2 to 2 1/2 oz swimbaits. One prob tho, for swimbaits I use braid to leader, and these guides do not allow that. Well maybe 10lb braid to 6lb mono leader but that wouldn't hold up to the cast alone. But nice rod. Good for froggin and I can throw a 2 1/2 oz swim bait quite a ways without trying. Throws the Citizen 6 a mile. But don't try a rigs. Just a little too much. I know eventually a snap was coming and I've grown to despise that sound. So frogs and med swim baits it is. Loads good on cast and hook set. Sensitivity is good and pretty light for a 7'4" x-heavy. Can't complain yet and had it for 6 or 7 months.

Comments: Very nice rod. Just as nice as the Unicorn as I can tell no difference on the water. The finish is nice and guides are great. Seems to be a bit on the heavy side for a medium to heavy but absolutely no complaints.

Comments: Don't get me wrong. It's a nice rod. I have owned the 7'7" Heavy for about a year now. It's finish is nice, it's light, it's comfortable, etc. But it's not nearly as sensitive as advertised. I've used it for anything from jigs to flipping and it's just not super sensitive. I've used rods have the price that are more sensitive. Maybe I've been spoiled with the rods I have used, but this one is no more sensitive than the other rods I've used.

Comments: I just picked up another one direct from 6th Sense during the holiday sale. The first one is a great rod and was made in China ( so is the Dobyns Champion Extreme HP Split Grip I just got at over $100 more). The second 6th Sense rod was made in Korea and the fit and finish is noticeable better. As far a sensitivity goes, the high end Dobyns is no better.

Comments: Got the 7'7" Heavy after trying to decide between this and the Unicorn. I have no regrets. This rod is light, strong, beautiful, comfortable, and SENSITIVE! My new favorite flipping stick!

Comments: Awesome rod, I have the 7'1" MH / fast, and this is the lightest rod I have ever held in my hand. I must admit I was a little hesitant to spend that much for a MIC rod, but now I'm glad I did. The sensitivity of this rod is so good there is no doubt that I have missed bites with other rods. More than likely I will buy another like the 7'4" XH or the 7'7" H.
