Add the 8Bit Baits Pixie Dust Powder to your custom baits and experience all the benefits over traditional Mica-based powder pigments. Capable of being mixed into plastisol for soft plastic injection, Pixie Dust Powder is safe for use in epoxy and resin clear coats, and the incredibly small particle size of 50 - 150 microns makes it compatible with airbrush applications as well when using nozzles that are 0.5mm or larger.
Pixie Dust has a very high level of reflectivity and glimmer that not only looks fantastic in sunlight but also in low-light situations. The borosilicate base provides chemical resistance, making Pixie Dust a great addition to mix into epoxy and clear coats, while the high heat resistance withstands multiple reheats and resists burning when mixed into hot plastisol. * Pixie Dust should be treated similarly to a pearl powder—it’s not optically clear which means it will cloud the plastisol similar to a pearl powder. It can still be used in clear belly applications but can also be added to a wide range of base colors.
* Pixie Dust powder pigments are cosmetic grade pigments and non-toxic to the skin and touch, however, due to the small micron particle size it is highly recommended to wear the proper PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) to prevent inhalation of the powder particles.
* Users should not Inhale or Ingest Pixie Dust.
