Built using 140gsm carbon fiber blanks with 33% resin content, the ALX OXIM Series Casting Rods provide an exceptionally balanced feel that is very responsive but still extremely durable. They also feature a Toughskin gloss finish that increases durability even further and gives anglers an added level of protection.
On the bottom end, the ALX OXIM Series Casting Rods are equipped with custom urban camo high durometer EVA foam grips that decrease weight and are similar hardness to cork for increased sensitivity. They are also fitted with a mid-micro 100% braid-safe Z Series Kigan Guide system that increases casting distance and allows for leader knots and thick lines to pass through with ease. Comments: I bought an agent and paired it up with a Daiwa Zillion SV TW G. Sweet combo! The blank is very sensitive for the price point. This will be a good all around rod with a little bit more bend through the midsection which will only help you keep those fish pinned since I almost exclusively use braid to leader. I think it's going to be an excellent spinnerbait rod and will work for many other applications such as your standard Texas rigs, and more. I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Comments: Purchased the OXIM Agent for throwing light T-rigs. The rod is super light and plenty sensitive, but on only the 3rd trip out the rod snapped a hookset about 28" down from the tip on a 2lb fish. Sent it back to ALX for warranty, they determined it to be manufacturer defect and sent a new one out for me. Unfortunately breaking that easily and that soon kind of left a bad vibe for me with ALX so I ended up selling it and purchasing something else. I probably won't be trying anymore ALX rods, they are just not for me.

Comments: I bought these just before an ABA tournament in Alabama. Threw a spinner bait all day with exceptional feel in the water. Around 9am caught a 6 pounder and never had an issue. These are the best rods I have ever owned ever. Light sensitive and durable ALX gets an A plus for sure now I own 7 of them.
