Overview
Representing the culmination of ALX rods most ambitious rod development to date, ALX ZOLO Series Spinning Rods are built using only top tier material to deliver mind blowing technique-specific performance. Incredibly balanced, sensitive and powerful, the ZOLO Series Rods are built around advanced Hydra NG rod blanks. The blanks’ aerospace quality NG Carbon and Scrimless Fiber Design (SFD) construction allowed ALX to eliminate energy robbing, low modulus materials normally used to create axial strength in rods.
Using this concept, ALX was able to replace traditional blank design with a singular carbon material wound under intense pressure, as well as, a multi-axis pattern configuration to maintain outstanding durability. The result is homogenous carbon composite blanks that waste very little energy, and a series of rods that are extremely crisp, powerful, and responsive.
Also equipped with top quality Kigan Zero Tangle 3D Guides for superior casting capabilities, custom trimmed reel seats offer a lightweight ergonomic base for your reel and premium cork split grip handles with strategically placed trim pieces deliver long lasting, quality comfort. Designed in house and put together in South Carolina, USA, like all ALX Rods, the ALX ZOLO Series Spinning Rods deliver tournament-tested performance worthy of any podium.

Comments: Great rods that are light, sensitive, crisp and strong. I have the Maestro which is great for heavier weighless applications like senkos & the Maven which is a fantastic option for dropshot & lighter plastics. Because the rods are so sensitive you get a vibration sensation as a pre-warning and then you feel the bite. Difficult to explain but you have to feel it for youself! These 2 spinning rods are a great combination to my 4 ALX casting rods and I plan to get more!
